Basically you chain 10 PokeStops within 30 minutes, and it gives you better items. The 10th stop also guarantees an egg. As far as we know the only catch is you can't use the same PokeStops in the process. If anyone knows any more info, feel free to share! :)

That's interesting. What is considered rare regarding items? I guess Great Balls over normal PokeBalls. But then, you still get those every now and then, not only on the 10th PokeStop. Maybe they simply give you more items than usual?

If anyone has managed to try this, I would love to read what exactly they gained from the 10th PokeStop. :]
 
I would imagine Max Revives and Hyper Potions would be considered rare items although they require you to be at a high level. I don't get very many Hyper Potions and I'm at level 22.
 
From what I've heard from other players, it's generally Great Balls. I've heard of people getting Ultra Balls though.
