Ruling New player deck

My dad just stared playing and i need to know a way to help him with everything he needs.Does anyone have any suggestsions.

take advantage of him, tell him: to buy a lot of boosters, and ask all the cards you need :p
just try helping him, try practice battles, and explain him all the rules, the best way to learn is by playing.
 
The only way to become smarter, is to battel a smarter opponent. So train with him.And buy a starter kit, one from legend maker with golem or gengar..It's a good way to learn, and it has everything you need start...
 
Get an ex Trainer Kit. When my Dad and I stared playing, that wasthe first thing I got and it is very easy to practice with.
 
The plusle/minun one or if you can find it (imo that is better) the Latis one. It has one booster in it, and if youre lucky (like me) you may get an EX (I got a Blastoise EX in my pack) and make sure he knows this rule, which is very easy to misunderstand: You draw your OWN prizes, not your OPPONENT'S.
