Back in November we posted China would be getting new full art versions of Venusaur V and Blastoise V in their latest Pokemon TCG set, Primordial Martial Arts. The set released on November 17th. This was the first time we ever saw these cards — and it was long after the reign of Pokemon V were over.

It turns out the set also included new rainbow rare versions of Venusaur VMAX and Blastoise VMAX! These cards were also created exclusively for China’s set; they never released in Japan or other countries.

Cool! Any chance of (visual) set lists of these and upcoming sets? They're all super mysterious, but we're getting into SWSH alt art-era now so the secret rares are going to be interesting for people collecting on a budget. So far the S-Chinese full and alt arts from SM were a fraction of the English or Japanese prices and super high print quality.

Those cards are sick, I don’t know how but im going to get one of those blastoise rares.
Most likely you will end up buying one on eBay for something in the neighborhood of $10-15. There are several for sale there in this price range at any given time, and you will probably save a few dollars if you buy both starters together (both the Full Art pair and the Hyper Rare pair are sold as a set for $20-25).
