I like the Skymin one but the girl seems to be a bit messy. The colors are better on that pic than the skymin though. Either way, really good for your first ^_^

People get all angry when I go into detail and disagree with me. So I'm just going to keep it simple from now on.

Hey, that looks nice for your first! Good job. :)

However, for the coloring, remember to expand the selection by 1 or 2 pixels before you fill so that background lines won't appear inside the CG outlines. *To expand the selection go up to Select > Grow.*

As for the outlining, it's very clean but a bit bumpy. If you are going for the full whammy try to recreate the outlining by tracing around it with the Paths Tool and then apply a stroke to the path. Use a pixel size that satisfies you and stroke with the Brush tool.

Most importantly practice, practice, practice. Try experimenting with different tools and see what outcomes you get. In addition you can always read tutorials to help expand your knowledge. Keep it up and I hope to see more!

Those look nice - I like the Furret one that was based off of my art for it - very cool. :)

Have you checked out my "Turning Hand Drawn Art into Digital Art" guide, yet? I think the effect I explain in there to turn the lines into all black would help out the pieces a lot. :3

The new furret is nice but maybe make the lines more crisp and add shading ?
