Fun Most Damage Possible

The maximum amount of damage that can be done, is theoretically unlimited. Any pokemon that has the text "Flip until you get tails" can pull it of. By the laws of probability you can flip forever, and never get tails. Grated, the actual odds are unbelievably small. The question is 'what's the most damage that has been done" rather than 'whats the most that can be done.'

Part of the rules in the thread state that infinite-damage flippers with the effect you mentioned are no fun and therefore are not allowed in the results.

Except 32∞ damage flippers. Those are a lot of fun.

OK... Have used Pachirisu (Phantom Forces)'s Trick Sticker during your last turn, with their active M Gengar-EX staying out. The opponent has Jolteon (Ancient Origins), Malamar EX, and Vileplume (Boundaries Crossed) on their bench. Attack with Zoroark (Black/White)'s Foul Play, copying Phantom Gate, to copy MAXamar with 53 Darkness Energy and 4 DCE attached (you could copy the opponent's Trick Sticker with Foul Play on Phantom Gate), flip heads on every flip, and you get 59,520 damage if my math holds out. I wouldn't be shocked if there was another attack with more raw damage potential, either, making the Trick Sticker combo much more potent. Shame the only Stage 1 attack copiers are Darkness-type, a Psychic could deal much, much more damage thanks to Gardevoir.

First of all, I'm sorry to say that move copiers are illegal (but if it's really, really creative you could get an honorable mention :p). Secondly, I fail to see the point of the Trick Sticker and the Jolteon on the opponents bench, as no Pokemon in play are affected by Jolteon, and M Gengar-EX already has a weakness to Zoroark's natural type. Lastly, I'm not sure if the Foul Play to Phantom Gate combo would work, as I'm not 100% sure how the opponents Pokemon's clause would work when copied. If you could expand on the second point and if a third party could address the third, that would be great.

Also, can we have a cutoff to when a Pokemon can't be submitted. i.e. Pokemon submitted must do 1500/2000 + damage or something similar.

I'll also submit some others that can do more than that mentioned in the OP ;)

EDIT: This would probably be relevant for combos like Huntail + Gardevoir:

Q. What happens if I attach a Rainbow Energy to Roserade with the "Energy Signal" Poke-POWER? Do I get to use both effects?
A. If the Energy card you attached provides all types (for example, Rainbow Energy), then both effects would trigger. Energy Signal would both Confuse and Poison the Defending Pokemon. (Sep 30, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

EDIT 2: I ended up making a few mistakes with Iris, so fixed those up.

Unfortunately, Psychic Mirage only works on Psychic Pokemon, so Malamar-EX and Yveltal-EX can't benefit from it. For the slight more damage ones (i.e. Rotom), the only way they would do the extra damage is if one player had taken all of their prize cards (as Rayve so graciously pointed out). I'll damage check all the others and add your originals tomorrow when I have a bit more time. Also, I like the minimum damage idea. It will be instated.

...it-it does 0.0;;. Well, we can always assume that Yveltal-EX is attacking a Genger-EX for the buffs n.n;;
Oh, fair enough. You'd probably need to check through all my other ones for the same mistake >.<

I was in a rush, and didn't have time to double check, so I was going by memory. The Jolteon, had Trick Sticker worked as I thought it did off the top of my head, would have made Zoroark Lightning.

hate do necrobump, but oh well.

You have active a Shedinja ROS with a Team Plasma Badge attached and 4 Umbreon PLF and 4 Floette FLF in play, giving it 190 HP. It then has 180 damage counters on it and you are down 5 prizes, so playing Iris does 50 more damage, along with 4 PlusPower. Your opponent has something weak to grass active and Vileplume BCR on their bench.

50 x 180 + 90 x 4 = 9,360 damage.

1 Malamar-EX
1-1-1 Gardevoir NXD
1 Rainbow Energy [for attack cost]
55 [P] Energy
Gardevoir NXD only applies to Psychic Pokémon, so you would have to use Mew-EX to increase damage.

Supa Hot Fire actually reminded me of this last year. :p

50 x 180 + 90 x 4 = 9,360 damage.

This can be increased an extra 200 damage using Puzzle of Time and Dowsing Machine, to make 9,580 damage.

---

Anyways, this does look like a fun thread to revive, so let's hop right back to it! We do have a new asset - 4 Puzzle of Time - to boost our PlusPower combo to an insane 70 extra damage! Anyways, I'm looking at Typhlosion BKT for this one:

1-1-1 Typhlosion (400 damage)
5 [R] Energy
1 Team Plasma Badge + 4 Benched Deoxys-EX (+40)
Quad Pluspower + Dowsing Machine + 4 Puzzle of Time (+90)
Whimsicott BCR (+40)
Double Iris (+100)
Vileplume BCR (x4)

This combination will dish out (400+40+90+40+100)*4 = 2680 damage; putting it at a respectable 21st place.

superfang raticate plus most hp pokemon and mega tyranitar.
Here is a video.
Unfortunately this does not count according to the rules, since using Mew-EX to copy attacks is not allowed. (This is because this will flood most of the list with Mew-EX.)

EDIT:

I've also updated our Deoxys-EX combo to be the following, increasing its total output to 14900!

Deoxys-EX using Helix Force against Gardevoir (NXD) with 56 [P] Energy (112 Energy) (base 3390)
+ Fluffy Tag Whimsicott (+40)
+ Muscle Band (+20)
+ double Iris (+100)
+ 4 Pluspowers + Dowsing Machine + 2 Puzzle of Time combos (+70)
+ 4-4-4 Empoleon BKT (+80)
+ 1-1-1 Vileplume (x4)
+ 1 Skyfield (to allow of Empoleon/Double Iris/Whimsicott/Vileplume)

Which equals: (3390+40+20+100+90+80)*4 = 14900 damage - tieing with Malamar-EX! This is an increase of 820 damage from the original combo.

I see people using muscle band for some of these, don't forget Silver Bangle is strictly better in this situation. And if a pokemons multiplier is by 20 then 1 silver bangle is better than 1 energy.

For all the top ten, it is better to run an Energy or be attacking the non-EX Gardevoir NXD, so Silver Bangle won't work (it may work for some of the other high hitters). In the case of number 10, it would appear optimal to run Silver Bangle, but using Gardevoir NXD, we can make each attached Energy worth 40, making Energy superior.

Gardevoir NXD only applies to Psychic Pokémon, so you would have to use Mew-EX to increase damage.
Actually Shedinja does 50 damage times the number of counters, not damage. So it would be (50 x 18 + 90) x 4 = 3,960. With the Puzzle of Time/Dowsing Machine combo, you can add 200 damage (4 additional Plus Powers from Puzzle, 5th from Dowsing = 50 damage x 4 weakness) to make it 4,160.

Edit: Also if you were going off your original formula, it would be closer to 36k+ with the weakness.

Yeah, I just redid the math using my original formula for...

36,360 damage. Well and beyond the most damage we have found so far.

Okay, so this isn't the max... But it's probably the max you'd see in an actual game:

1x Zygarde EX
1x Power Memory
1x Skyfield
4x Regirock EX
4x Machamp FFI
4x Strong Energy

K, so Skyfield in play, all 4 Machamps and all 4 Regirock EX in play. Zygarde EX in Active slot with all 4 Strong Energy and Power Memory attached. Ideally opponent has Vileplume BCR in play and a Fighting-weak Active Pokémon. Then... All Cells Burn for (200 + (20 * 4) + (20 * 4) + (10 * 4)) * 4 = 1,600.

It turns out Supa Hot Fire's Mewtwo-EX can do 40 more damage.

You have an Active Mewtwo-EX NXD with 51 Psychic Energy attached to it and a Vileplume BCR and Gardevoir NXD on your Bench. You have one Prize card left.
Your opponent has an Active Gardevoir NXD with 56 Psychic Energy attached to it. They have one Prize card left.

You play an Iris, adding 50 damage to X Ball.

4*(20*(2*51+2*56)+50)=17320

Most of the posts in this thread have assumed that both players only have one Prize card left, even though it may have been difficult or impossible to get into that state, which is why I assumed the same for this situation. There might be some people who will bring up the point that it is impossible to get down to one Prize card each with this deck. To make this situation possible, each player can cut two Psychic Energy for one Exeggcute PLF and one Mystery Energy. This way, with a Mystery on the Active, each player can repeatedly retreat into Exeggcute and have the opponent knock it out in order to decrease the number of Prizes remaining. If we cannot assume that there is only 1 Prize card remaining, then the new damage output is

4*(20*(2*50+2*55)+50)=16850

if the math is right.
