More Cards Revealed from “Black Bolt” and “White Flare,” Including New “BWR” Rarity Cards!

Only reason they go for over that is because theyre one of the MCs/Legendary Pokemon, not gym leaders, not random sightseers, and definitely not a totally random lady with a parasol and a rainbow. Obsidian Flames: NA (both Geeta and Poppy weren’t that popular, but they got SIRs and Ortega was stuck with a full art)
Paradox Rift: Parasol Lady (this was during release time, it has fallen a bit already)
Paldean Fates: The return of Iono, Nemona and Penny just there
151: Erikas invitation was more popular than Giovannis charisma
Temporal Forces: Biancas devotion outshadowed Morty
Twilight Masquerade: Both Perrin and Carmine, Lana was just there
Shrouded Fable: Casseopia or something (just penny)
Stellar Crown: Lacey (Briar as well)
Surging Sparks: Lislias Appeal over Clemont and Drayton
Prismatic Evolutions: nope all got overshadowed by that sunbreon
Battle Partners: Lillies Clefairy, Ionos bellibolt (props to pokemon for the Ns zoroark though!)
Destined Rivals (Heat Wave): Cynthias Garchomp (Ethans Ho-Oh is around $100 behind and arven…not that popular)
Destined Rivals (Glory of Team Rocket): oh my god finally 4/6 of them have men. Ariana and the Rockets Crobat.
Black Bolt/White Flare: Hilda (they will 1000% do an SIR.)

-MEN-
SV base: Arven and Jacq (didn’t go for much at the time, probably not now as well
Paldea Evolved: there…was one..? Oh right…Boss’s orders (Ghetsis)
Obsidian Flames: NA (absolutely no men in SIRs.)
151: Again, Giovanni was outshadowed. He is going to be back soon.
Paldean Fates: Arven….and no one else.
Paradox Rift: i dont think there was one
Temporal Forces: good bye morty
Twilight Masquerade: my boy kieran
Shrouded Fable: No men in SIRs.
Stellar Crown: nope!

Prismatic: Kieran and Drayton are back!!! And…against a $1500 sunbreon.

TY FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE LIST🙏 it helps me get a numeric breakdown of rep (also would love LGBT rep in cards from pokemon too!)
I was SO HAPPY when Ethan got a lot of special treatment cards, but ofc they came at a price. I stalked tcg player for over a month until japanese prices settled and caved into FA ethans adventure and AR ethans typhlosion. Regardless of my bias for Ethan, the unproportional rep is indictive to popularity of characters as you said. But hey, I love that the guys go for less cause I'm a broke ass college student with a need for dopamine hits so this works out for me well. It won't be the end of the world for me if Hilbert and cheren don't get FAs but maybe a sorta "Friends in Unova" would be awesome!

Friends in Unova? That seems good…they had a friends in Sinnoh, Hisui and Paldea so they may release one….just dont go as much as friends in alola that card is too expensive (Lillie)

Also by the way..this list is kind of wrong haha i forgot about some cards and also placed Dendra in the wrong set…

Took a read at the thread! Very nice to see everyone being civil about the topic honestly. I should also mention that I know nothing about competitive pokemon haha. I own Friends in Hisui and Friends in Sinnoh cause I adore the artwork and the gen 4 games! I love displaying cards in my room and both of those cards sit on my desk along with my newly gotten ethans adventure FA and ethans typhlosion AR. While I'm not gonna hold my breath and expect Hilbert or N to have a FA, ill just sigh if it doesn't happen. And if it does then awesome! I used to get REALLY upset over the gender inequality when I was younger (I'm a woman and I was raised on fear. Probably can fill in the lines there.) Anytime there was any media with provocative women in it it'd trigger anger cause of inequal representation. I can complain as much as I want to but at the end of the day we all know s3x sells. Which is heinous since a lot of these characters are minors but I'm not opening that can of worms. Can't do much about that. What I can do is appreciate what is in the set I like! Finding something good in the bad tends to make your outlook more positive once the dust settles. Sorry if I rambled haha

Yup….thats why cards of a 11 year old girl sell for $300+ and a playmat with her on it sells for over $1000!
