Ok I was thinking of using Mightyena PL (bellow #1) with skuntank G (blow #2) I was thinking of using the combo in a deck if lost world does comme out, but I don't know what to pair with it (now I am assuming that lost world is going to come out so please keep this in mind) So please LMK what you guys think.

Nidoqueen RR to keep the Poison damage off of Mightyena. And I hate to say it, I had a deck built around this combo before and it auto loses to DialgaChomp

TBH, this deck doesn't fail against DialgaChomp. Just toss down a Mightenya LA and start locking up anything they play. Drifblim/Banette (their only stage 1's, usually) are both conviniently weak to dark, in case they try that. Nidoqueen doesn't work well enough IMO, though I'll try it out.

so no Ideas on any secondary attackers?? Honesty I was thinking about Steelix Prime cuz it works well with skuntank

No, Steelix needs it's own deck for it to work, it just takes so much space for everything. Maybe Luxray GL Lv.X since it can take cheap prizes if you can't get a Mighteyenna out that turn.

Even though Mightyena is an established deck, Mightyena isn't metagame, and you are also looking for ideas for Mightyena. So, I'll move this to the Player's Sandbox forum. If another Mod disagrees with my decision, you can move it back and let me know.

*Moved*

it doesn't need secondary attackers. It just needs alot of consistency and recovery. Mightyena works best alone.

na it needs something to deal with tanks, DGX, other popular decks, if it were good enough to stand alone, then it would be a meta deck.

If your really qorried about tank decks just run either a 1-1 Drifblim UD line or a 1-1 Blazikin FB line.
Drifblim shuffles both active pokemon in each players decks and in doing so gets rid Special metals.

While blazikin FB can OHKO a Dialga or Steelix which would otherwise give you trouble.

I'd go for Blaziken instead of Machamp/Rampardos. Machamp and Rampardos both take much more time to setup than Blaziken, and Blaziken also isn't affected by Skuntank G (another attacker). Blaziken can also easily KO Dialga and Steelix, as miniman said.

I'm sorry, but this is just a ridiculous thing to say. It would be as if I said, "Jumpluff needs a secondary attacker. If it were good enough to stand alone, it would be Tier 1. I know, I'll add in Kingdra, since it helps against Charizard." It just doesn't work that way. By adding in a secondary attacker, you drastically reduce consistency. Straight Mightyena is the way to go. This Mightyena will never be meta, no matter how many attackers you have. Adding others doesn't instantly make it better. It makes it worse.

but that isn't exactly what I ment, what I mean when I say that is that if it were SOO good by it's self that then it would be a better rated deck, ex: jumpluff during the last format it could stand alone and beat most decks

But what other people are saying is that adding a second attacker doesn't make it better, just like adding a second attacker to Jumpluff wouldn't make it better, even though there are decks better than Jumpluff. Not every card has potential to be meta; so unless you want to take apart the entire point of the deck, good luck on making Mightyena meta.

I understand that it won't make the COMBO better, but I NEED a tech (at the very least) that can help aginst it's weaknesses which are the folowing:
machamp (because of weekness)
donphan (hard to KO and weakness trouble)
Gyarados (doesn't have to play energy and has mesprit)
SPs (dialgia shuts me down, and they just spray poison structure so I don't get poisoned)
that is why it needs a partner

Toxicroak G would be an epic tech for Machamp.

You should already be running Skuntank, so yeah.

Crobat G Toxic Fang can do some damage against Donphan. Then you can hit hard with Mightyena (and Special Darks if you play those).

Seeker/SSU if Skuntank is sprayed. Dialga and Gyarados are near impossible to tech against, but that's why this deck isn't one of the best.

dmaster out.

I know, that is why I am trying to find a good partner for it so that if lost world DOES come out that I can have an extreamly good matchup aginst it, and survive the general meta
