Ruling Mewtrick question

hey my friend just got the Mewtrick World Championship Deck and he/i am wondering why it has Roselia in it? I'm guessing for "reactive aroma" but there arn't any react energys in the deck. Ohterwise it has "flick poison" which just poisons someone and isnt that great. whats the point of it, or am i totally missing some rule with react energys?
 
Mewtric is a great disruptive deck, and roselia is a great disruption pokemon.
Its pokebody IS useless there.
Its attack was great against LBS and against other deck that has pokemon with high retreat cost.
 
It was a purely metagame card. Against decks like LBS, you could have Mew copy Flick Poison to bring it active. Because you would probably have Battle Frontier out, they couldn't use Pidgeot to find the Switch. Once this happened, you could easily KO the Blastoise to basically seal the game.
 
I thought about using it in a deck, but it doesn't seem as great as some other cards I could put in fromt he new cards of the format.
