In case ppl are too caught up with Worlds to notice it yet or just overlooked it, catch this. Finally, a legit Mew in MY part of the county hopefully. Nintendo never comes to the little towns so we get left with AR and Shark and such to get these. YAY! Now how about that worldwide release for D/P? And I want my statue too. Lucky me, my husband works at Toys. *cheers* I just knew he'd be useful for something. :p

September 30th

Head over to Toys R Us for a very special one-day event. To celebrate the release of Pokemon: Lucario & the Mystery of Mew (coming to DVD Sept 19th), as well as the launch of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Toys R Us stores all over the country will be distributing the mysterious Pokemon Mew. Bring one of the following Pokemon game packs to a participating store: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen, to receive Mew.

Aw man I don't think I will be able to make it because I don't know where there is one nearby where I live and I wish they would do promos like this at fred meyer.:)

So I take it the Mew is a download, unlike in Japan where you needed a ticket...

By the way, cute-mew's going to have field day when he hears this... if he already hasn't. I still can't believe they're giving it away. Too bad it doesn'thave transform.

I'm bringing two of each game: R/S, FR/LG, and EM. Then I'm trading 'em all to Emerald and start cloning them! Mews gallore!

Was there a list of the participating stores or did I miss that?

Ohhhhh... can someone save me an adament mew? (dont train it at ALL!!) I'll give you a beefy metagross, adament, 301 hp (full IVs btw) and 404 attack! Or something else, whatever really :D

That'll be pretty possible actually:
Seeing as I'm going to be cloning them, and most likely trading them to D/P, I couuld send one out to you. (Through the WiFi feature)
This is, if my Toys R Us is participating. Is there a list?

Doesn't japan have the technology to download the pokemon? So why do they need tickets in their games to download them?:)

Actually he'll be mad... Seeing as he lives in Belgium and this seems to be US only event...

That is so cool me and my friend are going to Toy's R us this saturday to get the mew. This is so awesome I love nintendo.

Also whatever you do do not bring your Emerald unless you don't care about cloning. Isn't it a little bit strange that you have to trade to get mew? Well I have a friend that works for nintendo and he told me that if you trade to get the mew and recieve it on your Emerald nintendo put a code on mew so that it fixes the cloning glitch on pokemon Emerald version. So unless you want to never be able to clone on Emerald again do not use your Emerald version to trade for the mew.
