at the poke-body it says that i can use any attacks that my pokemon and i still need the energy neccesary but do i need to discard if the attacks say it?
You need to do everything that the attack requires you to do, be it retreat, discard energy, discard the top 1021934809213784 cards of your deck, instant loss, etc. etc. you have to do whatever the attack says as well
