Mega Camerupt ex, Mega Absol ex, Mega Mawile ex, Mega Abomasnow ex Revealed!

All missing megas need to be respected by at least a good looking full art for the disrespect they are given since it's inception.
Imagine losing a full art spot to skuntank when you are a respected mega.
Y'alls made up hierarchies never make sense. And if at any point in time you think TPC will follow your random idea of whats important you'll be disappoined for life

Some Pokemon have less worth, and the cardboard should reflect that.
My presentation is in tatters because they have no sense of priority, and print garbage mons as full arts when iconic Pokemon still needs space. This isn't megas, but it shows my point.

Both the Unova and forwards have their space in the case, consistent, a full art at bare minimum.
What happens when I pull up the Kanto to Sinnoh one I wonder.

Not even the apparent new coat of paint in BDSP saved Uxie and Azelf from having a modern art treatment. Presentation ruined, immersion ruined. You think they just forgot Deoxys-A for some odd reason, of before they make another Regirock full art (the new one looks awful btw), there is one Regi that still needs help?

Nah man, my indignation is justified.

Just say you’re mad the pokemon you like arent getting full arts, you dont need these elaborate, entitled justifications lmao

“My presentation is in tatters”

I’m wheezing this is so funny

That doesn't even make sense to me. Like mathematically. Okay. We know we will get 3 more mega sets this year(excluding mega dream ex for this)

If we assume each set to have a minimum of 6 megas at the end of the year we'd have around 26ish mega cards.

NOW BIG SPOILER TO THE AMOUNT OF NEW MEGAS IN ZA!

In ZA there will be at least 27 new megas , rumors say it'll be 32 final. So we would need to get 80 mega ex cards by the end of next year and assuming each set having 6 I come to the conclusion of around maximum 70. Of course there will be bigger sets that contain 8 exs so okay, maybe it really can be done... CRAZY
I understand but I’m saying the first set will always set the precedent. If they do not have regular ex’s in this set they will definitely not for the entire era

The VSTAR is Deoxys Attack, not Speed.

Also I am SO happy that it isn't just "iconic," Legendary, or Mythical Pokémon that gets representation in the form of special cards. To me, every Pokémon needs representation, even if "garbage" and I personally am extremely happy that Pokémon like Bouffalant, Kricketune, Durant, Squawkabilly, Lumineon, Spidops, and so on, gets a little special treatment even if the majority of special cards are still given to, in your words, iconic Pokémon. I would not call the majority of those Pokémon iconic, but instead marketable and popular. I mean is Deoxys Speed Form iconic if it's being confused with Deoxys Attack Form?

Even looking at your collection, there are only 3,5 Pokémon that haven't received a Full Art (counting Deoxys as 0,5 because it's just a form), while everything else has at least received an Illustration Rare, and many of those have received multiple special cards over the years. I would say the issue is more that instead of giving Tapu Koko 2 ex cards, 2 V cards, and a VMAX, they could have given at least one of those spots to the Uxie, Azelf, or Regice that is missing.

For me, the issue isn't that they're giving, again in your words, garbage Pokémon a little special treatment. The issue instead is that they keep using the same "iconic" Pokemon. Tapu Koko, Latias (incl. Mega Latias), Melmetal, Kyurem (incl. Black Kyurem), Koraidon, and Miraidon have all received multiple ex prints, and if we want to include non-Legends/Mythicals, Greninja has 3 unique ex cards, Lucario has 3 unique ex cards (and 3 unique V cards + a VSTAR), and don't even get me started on Charizard. Each one of those unique prints could have gone to the Pokémon you're missing in your collection.

So I don't think it's the "garbage" Pokémon that is taking up spots from the missing "iconic" Pokémon, in my opinion the "garbage" are getting the treatment they deserve. It's instead the "iconic" Pokémon that are taking up spots from the lesser "iconic" Pokémon, because they know what sells.

How dare Pokemon Card Lab not accomodate your exact card display style with all the full arts you need, they should know that Time Walk Azelf and a mere Set Up Uxie aren't suitable to be displayed in your collection, meaningless plebian cards that never did anything those are. Seriously though why would they even be tracking what pokemon they've given full arts to, especially so broadly as to group full arts, secret rares, IRs and SIRs together? You made this criteria up, you made this bed and you can lie in it.
