Ruling LVL up Prime?

some the new primes coming out some of them have lvl X forms and since Prime pokemon are played as regular stage 1 and 2 s would it possible to lvl up a prime?

example:

Gengar Prime->gengar lvl X

Yes you can. The Pokemon Prime has the same name as the normal Pokemon, and thus can be leveled up to a Pokemon of the same name.
