Lugia Legend has the poke power that - On the turn you play it you may look at top 5 cards of your deck and attatch all energy there to him, discarding the rest. But the card says when he comes into play but does not mention from the hand.

Therefore can i use legend box find him and attatch all energy there to him. THEN go on to use his power aswell?

Yes you can. First, finish the effect of Legend Box, attach all Energies there, and then shuffle your deck. THEN, you can use Ocean Grow and attach any energies from the next top 5 cards of your deck.
