Here we go again ! But this time--guest stars !

Prolouge:

Ash and Dawn are happily married. They had four kids, 2 boys, 2 girls. Mary, the oldest became a Champion Coordinator. William, became a great Trainer. Brandon, was a great Contest Coordinator, too. May

, who's the youngest started her journey. But she wanted to go for Ribbons and Badges. And so, begins May's journey through Kanto

Prolouge
May and Ash were sitting at TV playing Pokemon Stadium. Dawn was in the kitchen, washing dishes.
"And so it Charmeleon against Bulbasaur !" the announcer said. Bulbasaur tried a Razor Leaf, but it didn't do much. Charmeleon, blasted Bulbasaur with a Flamethrower and knocked it out
"Ha ! Daddy, I beat you !" May boasted
"But how ?" Ash questioned
"I had the type advantage !" May replied
"My, go up and get to sleep, you know what day tommorow is !" Dawn said
"Okay, mom" May said

Tommorow. May would begin her journey

Okay, now to the first chapter

The sun shown bright into the window of a lovely home. A young girl is sleeping in her room
"Come on, May ! You know what day it is !" Dawn shouted from downstairs
"All right, mom !" May replied

May was 10 years old. She had the looks of her mother (hair and all). All of her siblings were very successful Trainers.

Later, at her mother's Lab
"So, May, have you decided on what Pokemon you want ?" Dawn questioned. She showed her six Pokemon. The three Kanto Pokemon and the three Sinnoh Pokemon
"Yes, mom. I want Piplup !" May replied
"Okay, dear !" Dawn replied. She put Piplup in it's Poke Ball and gave it to May. Along with a brand new Pokedex and five other Poke Balls
"Have a good adventure !" Dawn shouted
"All right mom !" May replied. And so, May was off like a shot onto Route 1

Chapter 2--Reaching Viridian City

"Mom, I reached Viridian City !" May said, speaking to her mom via phone
"Oh that's great dear ! Oh, you're just like your father, getting there in one day !" Dawn replied
"Anyway, mom, do you know where the first Contest is ?" May questioned
"Um, I'm not sure, but I'll keep in touch !" Dawn replied
"Okay mom" May said
"Wait, Nurse Joy has the Poktch I had purchased for you, please ask for it and call me vis the phone operation on the Poktch and I will tell you where the first Contest is. I will be watching all of your Contests, don't worry dear !" Dawn said
"Okay mom, goodbye !" May replied
"Okay, see you later !" Dawn said. And then, the May hung up

She ran out and found two young men
"Hi, what's your names ?" May questioned
"My name's Seth" Seth replied
"And mine's Chris. What's your's ?" Chris questioned
"May, May Ketchum" May replied
"No way ! You're a Ketchum kid !" Seth said in shock
"Yeah, is that a problem ?" May questioned
"You don't know, your mom and dad are very powerful Gym Leaders and they run the Gym in this very town !" Seth replied
"They do ?" May questioned. All three ran to the Gym doors, but they were locked
"Your mom and dad don't accept every challenge, they will only challenge you if you got 7 badges first, and they said your mom and dad are the hardest Gym Leaders to defeat in the entire regio and the Pokemon world !" Chris stated
"Well, where are you guys going ?" May questioned
"We're going to Pewter City and challenge Brock" Seth said
"I'm going to compete in Contests" May said
"Okay, I'll guess we'll see you later then !" Seth said
"Yeah, I guess" May said

And so, May began continued her journey, leaving Pewter City and headed to Mt. Moon

Chapter 3--Wherefore art thou Contest ?

May called her mom vis Poketch phone function
"Mom, do you know where the first Contest is ?" May questioned
"Cerluean City, dear" Dawn replied
"Thanks mom !" May questioned
"No give it your all !" Dawn said. And then May closed the phone function on her Poketch

May saw a Clefairy and she wanted to catch it
"Piplup, go !" May said
"Piplup, use Bubblebeam !" May ordered. The Bubblebeam hit Clefairy. Then it was Clefairy attacked with Attract
"Piplup, dodge !" May ordered, "Now use Bubblebeam !". The Bubblebeam knocked Clefairy on the ground
"Now, go Poke Ball !" May exclaimed. The Poke Ball sucked Clefairy into the Poke Ball and after a few seconds, it stopped
"Awesome ! I got a Clefairy !" May exlcaimed

And so, with May's first wild Pokemon caught, May roared into Cerluean City, ready for her first Contest

Chapter 3--Contest Blues

As May rushed to the Contest Hall, she saw something that shocked her--her mom was there !
"Mom ? What are you doing here ?" May questioned
"Hey, why can't I enter Contest ?" Dawn replied
"But," May said
"No but's, and I hoep to see you in the finals !" Dawn said and walked away. May just stood there, if she got to the finals, she'd have to face her mom. And Dawn was one of the best Kanto Cooridinators ever !

May made a great appeal with Piplup. She used Bubblebeam and then Piplup jumped up and pecked them all. While her mother, Dawn, had no worries, with her Pikachu, Sparky. Do a famous Quick Attack-Thunderbolt routine. It was the final round and it was May vs. Dawn. Who would win ? Find out !
 
isn't it kind of unfair that a newbie has to fight a grand champ?
 
What's your point, don't underestimate May

(SPOILER: Even though she does lose)

Really, yeah Dawn's very powerful, but it gives May practice when facing a Cooridinator like her mother
 
o...k.... yeah, makes sense. no one wins their FIRST contest... 0_o
 
Dawn didn't, May's brother Brandon didn't, and her sister, Mary didn't. In fact,a ll three faced their mom in the finals. And Dawn beat them handily, too
 
Chapter 4--Beaten at the Finish

"Pikachu, Driftblim, spotlight !" Dawn said. Pikachu jumped off her shoulder and Drifblim appeared in a flash of light
"Piplup and Clefairy, go !" May said. Both Pokemon appeared in a flash of light

The clock began to wind down and Dawn made the first move
"Driftblim, use Omnious Wind and Pikachu, use Thunderbolt !" Dawn ordered. The two attacks fused and smacked into May's Pokemon
"No !" May shouted
"May, you won't be able to defeat me, you're just too inexpireneced" Dawn said
"Okay, Piplup Bubblebeam and Clefairy, use Attract !" May ordered. Piplup fired a Bubblebeam and Clefairy with Attract
"Pikachu, step in the way !" Dawn ordered. Pikachu took the Bubblebeam, and May thought the Attract would work. But Pikachu was there, not affected at all !
"But how ?" May questioned. Pikachu turned it's back and May could see that it was a female Pikachu by the indentation in it's tail
"Now finish them off ! Thunderbolt and Shadow Force !" Dawn ordered. Clefairy got pounded by the Thunderbolt and Piplup by Driftblim's Shadow Force. Both Pokemon fell on the floor, Knocked Out. Even with 1:30 left, Dawn took care for May and won the Cerluean Ribbon

"Now May, don't be so down, it's not your fault I was a Grand Festival champ !" Dawn said
"Yeah, you're right !" May replied
"I hope to see you at other Contests, dear !" Dawn stated
"Okay, mom !" May said.

And May watched as her mother walked out of the city

driftblim can't learn shadow force.
