it is weird because pikachu loses against a elekid but poon's all of the hoen league.

That was from"Pokemon Worlds Collide". I saw that battle and it was a really wierd on but why did Ash choose the wrong Pokemon for that battle? I cannot figure that out because Ash has done better than that before. It was a wrong Pokemon battle meaning something mess up Ash. Ever since that episode where Ash was taken by that king when Ash went to fight Brandon Ash has not been doing so good.

Ash can use sceptile, Charizard, Squirtle, Bayleef

y didnt ash use his aipom against him for because his aipom know a lot of good moves

That is a good question because Aipom followed Ash to sinnoh but I think it was just a trial battle now that I think about it just to see how the Pokemon would work and how strong and fast they are.
