..Even if in-game they're genderless, Theres some bits of proof.

In the Pocket guide It says "Unkown gender" unstead of genderless with "Not discovered" as Egg type..

ANd List of Legendaries with genders(List of ones I know of)
Mew(Female?)
Lugia(Male&Female, Theres a baby in the movie)
Ho-oh(Male&Female, Theres multiple Lugia, Why not Ho-oh?)
Celebi: Female(PMD2's Celebi is Female)
Kyogre:Male(Pokedex says KING of the sea)
Groudon:Male(Pretty much common sense)
Rayquaza:Male(I would guess so.)
Jirachi:Male?
Uxie:Male(Just what I think)
Mesprit:Female(PMD2 proves it.)
Azelf:Male(Just my opinion)
Dialga:Male(It's footprint is that of a king's crown)
Palkia:Female(It's footprint is that of a queen's crown)
Giratina:Male(It's footprint is that of a prince's crown)
Arceus: Both.

But it's just what I think. No big deal.

If we had to put genders to Legendaries, I agree with you. I just don't understand why the legends weren't given genders...

There are multiple Celebi. I don't think they're all female.

None of the Legendary Pokémon listed up there have gender, at least according to the in-game Pokédexes. The only ones I know of that explicitly show a specific gender are Latios, Latias, and Cresselia. (Heatran has a 50/50 chance.)

The only reason that the Legendaries were not given genders is so that they can not reproduce in the Video Games. Rerproducing Legendaries=Not Legendary any more. Imagine, if you could breed Darkrai's, then you could just hack one, get it to have an egg, then release that Darkrai, and then you have a legit darkrai.

In the pokemon movies, I'm assuming that yes, they do have genders. No way was that Darkrai in the Darkrai move a girl.

Giratina should be Fe-male to me it does
Ho-Oh should be fe-male and lugia male
Rayquaza f-emale just seems right to me

Also in the anime in the series master quest Lugia had a bady so they have to have genders.

IMO all legendaries would have to have both genders. Even they have to breed somehow. Cressilia is a mystery though, since its only female. Latios and Latias are similar enough to breed.

That's why most stuff says "gender unknown". Of course they have genders:rolleyes:.

IMO you got Jirachi, Uxie and Azelf wrong... :/

PMD2 proves it. And Azelf doesn't seem female IMO. Jirachi, IDK...

Entai is Male!
The 3rd movie proved it!

The Entei in the third was an illusion created by the Unown. :p

Besides, the Anime, PMD2 and the RPG series are different from one another and a different concept so they aren't THAT related.
