Ruling Legend Cards

Just a quick question about Legend Cards. Are you allowed to have 4 of a bottom card and 4 of a top? Since they are the same card, but different I guess. Or can you have a combination total of 4.

Also how will two cards work with a card like Night Maintenance or Great Ball?

The set's FAQ states that you're not allowed 4 of each in a deck - only 4 total (which can be divided into 2 top halves and 2 bottom halves).

With Night Maintenance, each half of a Legend card counts as a single Pokemon. Therefore, if you picked both halves with Night Maintenance, that's 2 cards, and then you can pick one more. With Great Ball, it would not work, because out of play, a Legend card is just a Pokemon; it is not any specific stage of Pokemon (just like a Pokemon LV.X is now - it only has a stage when it comes into play, and only when it stays in play).
