Kyogre Groudon legend deck

Since this thread does not contain a 60 card decklist, it belongs in the Player's Sandbox forum.

Look in the trading corner to trade, and this is in the wrong section. It should be moved to Player's Sandbox.

Anyways, the best way to run KGL is to use the Water attack to get rid of the opponent's bench. I would pair it with another Legend, like RDL(Rayquaza + Deoxys), and also Lugia as a tech. Finally, run a lot of suppport. So, maybe:

2-2 KGL
2-2 RDL
1-1 Lugia
2-2 Bronzong TM or Dragonair TM
3 Smeargle UD

Then run 4 Legend Box, 3 Energy Retreival, 2 or 3 Revives, 2 Collector, and some more staples, like Pokemon Communication and PONT/Copycat. Then 20 or so energy. So, here's a skeleton decklist:

2-2 Kyogre/Groudon Legend
2-2 Rayquaza/Deoxys Legend
1-1 Lugia Legend
2-2 Bronzong TM or Dragonair TM
3 Smeargle UD
Total Pokemon: 17

4 Legend Box
3 Energy Retreival
2 Revive
2 Pokemon Collector
3 Pokemon Communication
2 Professor Oak's New Theory
2 Copycat/Judge
3 Seeker/Super Scoop Up
1 Flower Shop Lady
Total T/S/S: 23

7 Water Energy
7 Fire Energy
4 Electric Energy
2 Fighting Energy
Total Energy: 20

That's just a skeleton.
2 Rescue Energy

You need to focus on JUST KGL. Don't bother pairing it with other Legends.

2-1-2 of Feraligatr pairs well with KGL's damage spread and helps with energy acceleration. For your starter, go with Mantine HGSS. It'll be able to search out KGL pieces as well as building your Feraligatr quicker.

2-2 KGL
2-1-2 Feraligatr Prime
4 Mantine HGSS

4 Pokemon Communication
4 Judge
1/2 Flower Shop Lady

2 Double Colorless Energy
2 Rescue Energy

That's my "staple" list for this deck. I find the 4 Judge necessary for disruption because this is a rather slow deck. Tech in whatever you feel works best for your community.

^Yeah, take the above poster's advice. I just took an alternative approach.

To build on Aaron's staple list, you'll need 2 Rare Candy, 2 Collector, 8 or so Water Energy, and you could use Fighting Energy if you wanted.

Aaron's list is better; go for spread+discard.

For HGSS-on:

2-2 KGL
2-1-2 Feraligatr Prime
4 Mantine

8x Water Energy
3x DCE
2x Rescue Energy

2x FSL
4x Communication
2x Judge
2x Juniper/PONT
2x Rare Candy

Should work as a basic outline.

As far as other ideas...
-I like Kingdra Prime in this deck. It can always be a backup attacker, but an extra damage counter can of course help a lot in some cases.
-Fighting Energy could help a bit against Steelix, but I wouldn't recommend it. Too much time taken up.
-Lanturn Prime could help as a backup attacker. Add in some lightning energy and you'd be good to go.
-Smeargle CoL could be pretty helpful for after a KGL gets KOd. Just as a thought.
-Indigo Plateau could let KGL last a bit longer. 180 HP is a great amount... and the weakness is only bat against Magne____ and Lanturn Prime. Just watch out for counter stadiums, etc.

This could work as a good spread/deck-out/disruption deck.

I tried a deck like this, its pretty good and fun. One thing is you should run 3-4 twins because this deck takes quite a while to get any prizes because your milling as well as trying to get prizes. Judge is a good idea that i did not add in my list, helps slow down and disrupt your opponent even more. I added in a zoroark to try a deal/revenge kill with zekrom because i run dce.

Heres me list

My variation of this deck runs Gyarados HGSS for added annoyance. Since KGL can only hit bench Pokemon with Mega Tidal Wave, after wiping them out, I send in Gyarados to use Hyper Beam and to further wreck their chances of returning.

I haven't lost a single match with KGL and Gyarados on the field and powered up. I wouldn't call it a staple in this deck, but it's better than teching Blastoise (another fairly decent option) or Ampharos.
