Klingklang With Plasma Steel

I am working on a new steel deck with all of the support that is in phantom forces. The problem that I am having is if Plasma Klingklang is a good card to add in or if using those 6 spots on something else would be better. I would have a 2-2-2 Klingklang line with no rare candy. Or should I use the spots to beef up my Bronzong line to 3-3 and run a 2-2 Beartic from furious fist to help against fire pokemon.

I don't think it's worth it. It's too much stuff to fit in and ultimately, EXes aren't the deck's weak point. The only way I could see it working is by focusing on Aegislash EX. Immunity to both EXes and pokemon with special energy attached could be pretty difficult to deal with for a lot of decks.

Ok that was the thinking I was going towards. I was thinking more along the dialga EX bronzong with Aegislash EX as a back up attacker, I also was thinking dual blocking in plasma steel and Aegislash EX.

Which deck do you think will be better.

I think Klinklang takes up too much space. With all the Garbodor and Seismitoad running around, Klinklang will be wasted space against too many decks. If they're not playing Garbodor or Seismitoad, it's probably a favorable match up for you anyway (besides Pyroar, of course), so I feel like Klinklang won't be all that good in this format. Bronzong decks aren't too tight on space, but they could definitely benefit from the 6 spots not being used by Klinklang parts. :p Also, having no Heavy Ball really hurts.

If you still want to use Klinklang, I'd go for the total lockdown route. Play heavy Aegislash EX and heavy Lysandre to totally shut down as many decks as possible. Some Lysandre's Trump Cards and Seismitoad might be useful as well. LTC helps with the Night March and Flareon match ups, and Seismitoad can help slow down those Evolution decks.

I personally think that typing is bad and bronzing should be in a utility deck. Steel type decks per say are not necessary terrible because it can thrive in formats with no type coverage and heavy EX's, but your matchup with virizion genesect is pretty 50/50 versus not so much against other matchups.

I don't see it as a lot you need to put into the deck, it's just about finding what you need to simplify as a main attacker, sub attacker and tech (imo, scarmory as main and tech, basic cobalion as sub) ageislash is far to situation and could cost matchups on coming short for damage for ohko's where scarmory and basic cobalion don't, that and head ringer makes this card harder to use.

Yeah i think I am going to go the route without KlingKlang, now that i think about it KlingKlang was already clunky and without level ball or heavy ball it gets even worse.
