How come in the 5th Gen VGC's you're only restricted to 5th Gen Pokemon?
Just curious...

We don't have any influence on it. It is decided by TPCI and possibly Nintendo. I've posted some arguments about some of the things on their forum, though I doubt I can change their mind.
