I commonly see "自分" bolded on japanese cards. I have two questions about it.

-What does it mean? I generally see it when you have to discard.
-Why is it usually bolded?

I looked a bit myself, and noticed that it seemed to only appear on attacks that referenced the Pokemon (Raichu IFDS's Slash- 'Raichu cannot use Slash next turn'), so it may just emphasize what Pokemon is affected by the attack.

Although according to Babelfish, it means 'by yourself'. :/
