OK, recently, the computer I used to download my songs of of broke. So I tried to do it on my new one, mini netbook HP. However, when I downloaded the song and synced my Ipod, it didn't have it on it. I authorized to computer. I typed in username/password right. Also, there were no songs on my Ipod put into the library on itunes. Just samples and the one I downloaded. There were also no new songs added to my iPod. So me and my dad tried to sync it up many times, but nothing happened. Is there any solution? I really wanna download songs again. So far my only option that I see is create anouther account (or authorize new comp) select yes on erase all current songs on Ipod and sync with this one. Then redownload the songs. Any help?

Call an Apple rep. When I switched computers it offered an option to download the songs on my iPod to that computer (I think, its been a while). But if you ask Apple you will get a solid answer

If you have an iPod Touch, just go to the iTunes app and download songs there (unless you don't want to pay the money). If you don't have a Touch, then I can't really help you.

Now I believe that when you 'sync' it with the computer for the first time it will treat the two as a pair. Then it will not allow it to be 'synced' with other computers. I might be wrong, but if you can still access your old account on iTunes, I suggest resetting the iPod to its Factory Settings, then syncing it with your new computer.

So erase all songs you mean? You mean restore option right?

You shouldn't have hit erase all songs on Ipod and sync with this computer. There should've been a second option that allows you to instead sync over the purchased music. Any music that was not downloaded through iTunes must be manually added again. If you made CDs off any of the music you can insert the CD and import the songs again.
