ok heres my story: there is this girl in 3 of my classes that i sit next to and i really like her. we are really good friends, she knows i like her, and i want to ask her out but i cant tell if she is going out with anyone right now because she is always flirting with me and a bunch of my other friends. What do i do?
 
Who cares if she's dating anyone? If she is one of those girls who can go online and have a date in five minutes here's what you do:

Play the romance card. I did that with a girl like that and we've been together for nine months! Look, ask her to a school dance. whatever the dance is, bring her flowers when you go to pick her up (yes, YOU PICK HER UP! don't have a car? HAVE YOUR PARENTS DRIVE!) Then at the dance, ask her if she wants to go out with you.

But, between the time you ask her to a dance and the dance itself, ask her to go to the movies onfce in a while. maybe try to hold her hand or something? AND ABOVE ALL!
PAY FOR EVERYTHING EVEN IF SHE WANTS TO PAY!!​

This sounds pretty serious well... You could just work up your courage and ask her out and if she says no then just accept. Many girls these days are very flirtatious. Just work up your courage and do it and remember Carpe Diem "seize the day" do it now before someone else does that's how I got my girlfriend.

Look, let me tell ya: any girl, flirtatious or not, loves romance. for my and my g/f's half year anniversary, i recreated our first date and she loved it. Play the part of Romeo, and you'll have Juliet in no time!;).....just remember she's not really dead!:p
 
If you don't ask her out it'll never work. Guys are supposed to ask girls out! Remember to talk to her alot! Make her feel special! Be polite and as MX IV said... pay for everything! Dances are great to relieve the pressure while on a date... your not felling so awkward... *hint hint* Dances are extremely good for asking girls out. And if she says she's going out with someone ask her again but later:p
 
I'm not a love guru, but I can tell you something really simple: If you don't know whether she's going out with anyone, do something very simple: Ask. Not ask for a date or something big if you're unsure, but just ask if she is... erm, yeah. If you feel uncomfortable approaching her in real life, do it online.

And don't tell her you play Pokemon.
