First off, How MUCH money do you spend on pokemon, not many. Second, this set, we have bought about 18 boxs (15 boxs, 3 pres, and 4 drafts with prizes). Side note: Only 1 nite ex in 12 boxs+ those pres/drafts!?!

Very little, about $40 per set which is about $200-250 this year. This doesn't include presents and gifts etc.
