Ruling help with charizard d

hey if my charizard d is charged with d rainbow energy, i must discard with the metal burn attack??
the atack says: discard all metal energy attached to charizard
 
Yes you do, it works the same if you have Holon Reasearch tower out, you have to discard all basic energies attached.
 
try double rainbow energy .... but your attack reduce by 10 i think is ok because current pokemon hp stuck in 110 hp .... and discard double rainbow....
 
Yep, you have to discard it. However if you are running low on energies, you can use meteor falls or memory berry and the fire charmeleon from CG to use rage. It worked well for me at the prerelease, but that was only a prerelease...
