Gym Leader’s Pride Deck

Pokemon: 20

2-2 Luxray GL Lv.X
4 Raichu GL
2-2 Garchomp C Lv.X
2 Uxie
1-1 Dialga G Lv.X
2 Arcanine FB
2 Porygon-Z G

T/S/S: 24

4 Cyrus’s Conspiracy
4 Poke Turn
4 Energy Gain
2 SP Radar
2 Aaron’s Collection
2 Bertha’s Warmth
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Bebe’s Search

Energy: 16

4 Double Colorless
4 Fire
4 Lightning
2 SP Metal
2 Basic Metal

Strategy: Get out Luxray GL X for easy KOing. Raichu GL for Bench shooting and then hitting the Active for decent Damage. Uxie for Setup. Arcanine as a Tech. Porygon-Z G for getting back Tools. Garchomp C X for healing and 80 snipe or Active KO. Cyrus’s for getting EGain, Energy, and Supporters. Bertha’s for healing. Pokemon Collector for Basics which is all I have in this Deck beside Lv.X. Bebe’s for Lv.X. Aaron’s for a Discard recover. Poke Turn for Garchomp C Lv.X Reuse, P-ZG reuse, or just healing a Pokemon.

Please rate, tell me what you think, and ect.

PZG can't reuse poketurns because they're not tools
also, take out the arcanine fb and fire and add a crobat g, 3 power spray, and a junk arm.
this kinda looks like luxchomp just with raichu gl.
also, if dialga g or dgx is prized, then the other one and your 4 energys are useless - you need azelf.

Yes to glaceon, and no, I like the Arcanine FBs. Dialga G is just an un-important Tech. So there for, I do not care about him enough to have a Azelf.

why would you have an unimportant tech in your deck? why wouldn't you put in a tech that IS important? and with 4 energy gain, you're not going to lose them that often that you need TWO porygon-z g's to reuse them.
and the arcanine fb is just a bad card. gets ohko'ed by gyarados. just not needed in the deck

You know what, I do not even know why I posted this. Mods Lock, because I hate the advice people on this forum give.

I don't understand why you'd be upset. They're just trying to understand your logic behind the use of Arcanine G and DGX without Azelf. But firstly, why play Arcanine G? I honestly don't see the need for it unless you're using it to counter opposing DGX in which case, it's a pretty poor tech. It doesn't even come close to one-shotting DGX which is a problem because against Dialgachomp they'll heal off the damage and one shot you with Remove Lost. Arcanine G simply isn't needed, in fact, Blaziken FB lvX would be a much better DGX counter as it will deal 160 dmg. Now unless the opposing DGX isn't belted with at least 3 special {m} energy, then they're going down. Raichu GL fits in the same catergory as Arcanine G - it just isn't needed, Crobat G already takes care of the damage placement aspect, and Luxray/Garchomp (base forms) are much more consistant and less situational attackers. Porygon-z G? well... its not really needed, but you could play 1, but its a waste of bench space seeing as DCE reduces the decks overall dependancy on E.Gain. So overall;

-4 Raichu GL (works much better with Gallade 4 lvX)
-2 Arcanine G
-2 Porygon-z G
-2 Bertha's Warmth
-4 {R} Energy
-2 {M} Special
(-16)

+2 Crobat G
+1 Ambipom G (1 of Luxchomps most useful ability is being able to land a T1 donk)
+1 Bronzong G
+1 Unown Q (to remedy unwanted Uxie starts and such)
+1 Smeargle UD (has proved itself to be great against SP decks. Helps start a Cyrus chain right off the bat, or just get a T1 Collector)
+2 PONT
+1 Luxury Ball
+3 Power Spray (There should be no excuse for not playing this)
+2 Expert Belt (increases ability to donk as well as late game support)
+2 Warp Energy (To get DGX benched)

Oh, ok.

Then lets talk the synergy of both Raichu and Luxray. Well, they're both {L} types...but apart from that, they both don't seem to help each other. Raichu GL is much better is spread based decks where it can hit for 80 without any problems. However, this is not a spread based deck. To be honest it looks like Luxchomp with a few techs thrown in, though alot of the techs are not necessary. If you want to keep the whole Luxray/Raichu theme and still want to use Raichu to its fullest potential then may i advise using this line up;

2-2 Gallade 4 lvX
1-1 Luxray GL lvX
2 Raichu GL
2 Crobat G
1 Bronzong G
2-1 Uxie lvX
1 Smeargle UD
1 Unown Q

Still retains the whole Luxray/Raichu theme, however Luxray is now just a tech for dragging up easy prizes. Main focus is just to spam Blade Storm and attempt to sweep with Raichu GL. The reason for 2 Raichu GL instead of 4 is mainly because 4 is a waste of space. With 4 Poke Turn and 2 Aarons Collection you have enough "outs" to retrieve/recover Raichu.

well, he ^ knows what he's talking about. sp spread decks are becoming viable again, and that's a great list to start off with.
