Ive collected pokemon cards for years and have played, but i want to get into the tcg more competitively. Ive asked around the internet about good decks and everyone told me to come to this site. So here i am.. what are good meta decks as of now. any advice and direction would be amazing. i know its probably not good but i do want to make a virbank gym deck.

Welcome! The best way to learn more about the TCG is to build a deck and just play a lot with it and figure out how it could be better. As for Virbank City Gym, it will always have a strong presence as long as Plasma Storm is in-format.
