Galactic Pokemon: T1 70-80. Broken much?

Do you think G-pokemon are good?

Well, Platnium is coming up soon, and there's a new type of pokemon in the set- SP-pokemon(I'm sure you're all aware.) They are specifically known as G-pokemon, and they look pretty broken to me.

Here's how you could get T1 70:

Go second. Attach to a Toxicroak G(you need this to donk). Search for a Skunktank G with great ball if you have it. Then, use Cyrus' Scheme to get a Bebe, Rose, or another Scheme, a Psychic energy, and an Energy Gain. Attach the Energy gain to Toxicroak, possibly play draw cards to get a Stadium, play it, then use Skunktank's power. then you hit for 60+10 in between turns for posion. If they try to evolve to get rid of poison, you have Galactic's Base.

It seems unlikely, and probably will only happen T2 with Farfetch'd, but powerful, no?

Umm yea like every other deck that can Donk it requires some luck in the setup. Kingdra can do 60 turn 1 and Machamp can auto-KO turn 1. And when it comes out Rampardos can do 80 turn 1. So I'm not so sure wh you think they are broken because we already have Pokemon that can do those sort of things.

also platinum isn't coming out for a LOOOOONG time... this donk is so hard to pull off it's crazy...

Platinum is coming out February 11th...around a month and a half. That's not a very long time....you could say that about BET, though.

As said earlier, we already have Pokemon that can hit for a lot of damage Turn 1. A Galactic Deck doing 70 damage Turn 1 is far less likely to happen than Kingdra or Rampardos doing a lot of damage turn 1. You have to have a perfect start to do it.

No different than any of the other Donk fast decks out there now. (Kingdra, Machamp, Regigigas) Thing is, we don't know what's really going to happen or how fast it will really be, so yeah, too early.

dmaster out.

Rampardos > G Pokemon ^_^
Also Kingdra and Machamp and Sableye can do T1 Donks without that much cards so I think G Pokemon aren't broken but they're good.
With BET they will be broken for sure.

In Galactic's Conquest Pokémon [SP] lack the final tough to be turned into a flexible and viable Swiss Army Knife. This changes with DPt2 a little. The addition of more stable and viable spreaders helps the theme out a lot. In terms of turn one donks Rampados is for sure the top contender. It is the one fighting deck that does incredible well in the local DP-DPt environment. Also take into consideration that we have at least four Grass decks.

No matter how you look at it, actual DONKS are hard to do with Galactic stuff as you need:
2 Basics
1 Energy
1 Stadium
1 Tool

Thats 5 cards of which 1 can only be sought out with 1 specific supporter, and 1 which can only be sought out with Honchkrow G, who needs an attack for that, so that's out of the question.

Compare to any Stage 2 with a 1-Energy Attack cost:
1 Basic
1 Rare Candy
1 Stage 2
1 Energy

Voila, donk done. And it isn't blocked by opposing G pokemon.

Galactic decks are not true donk decks. Weavile G has the best chance to obtain a turn two donk since the cards it needs are easier to search out. Great Ball and Galactic trainers themselves are much easier to obtain than the stadium card. With four each of Galactic Invention 101 and Cyrus Sheme the odds are much better to obtain either one turn two and Weavile G can set itself up real well. Just be sure to run 10-12 basics with Weavile G which is not had once Bonds to the End of Time is released. Still Rampados is the king of donks in this environment.

Rampardos has the disadvantage of being a fossil.
Anyway, on the scale of donks, G Pokemon will have to concede to Machamp, Kingdra and Rampardos, and maybe even to Gengar. They're not designed in a "Donk and be done with it" kind of way, but more in a "Take the initiative and keep it with fast beatings" way.

Have seen T1 knock outs with Machamp and Kingdra. Rampados in a nice built can donk the defender on the second turn due to the fact that he has to evolve from a Fossil. Gengar could also be a second turn donk in a trainer heavy environment. Have also seen several turn two Weavile G donks with a decent 80 damage turn two. So Machamp and Kingdra are the turn one donk masters but the odds are not that high and it relies on a coin flip to be allowed to go second. Now factor in the need for Rare Candy and the evolution or a trainer which can search for it. However, if the opponent has no more than one Basic out the T1 donk is lethal. Nevertheless the turn two knock outs are far more common and some SP-Pokémon decks can pull that off nicely as well.

Rampardos can be T1 just as easily as Kingdra, Machamp, and Gengar. Fossil means nothing. It's a basic; you can start with it; there are certain cards(coughcoughfossilexcavator) that can get the basic. Since there was a "Skull Fossil" when Fossil Excavator was printed, you can search for the Skull fossil to candy to Rampardos.

i think being fossils made them better, now you can get them with bebes OR fossil excavator (only problem is roseannes...)
