What cards would you put into a tool box deck and to counter what?

big decks im thinking of now:
-tyram
-zekrom
-stage ones
-vanilluxe/vileplume
-donphan/dragons

what other decks do you think will be big and how do i counter them?
 
You'd also need to counter MegaZone, MewBox, Gothitelle, google.dec, MagneBoar, and Reshiboar. I wouldn't count on Vanilluxe being big until it actually is (remember what happened with LostGar?), and Donphan/Dragons has seen a huge decline in popularity.
 
Well somthing to counter MOST of that would be a lanturn prime and a donphan deck and IF vaniluxx gets big (im thinking posible) run some unknown cure or some full heal and/or a steelix prime.
 
I doubt Vanillux gets popular. Doesn't have enough going for it.

I'd say Donphan Samurott/Dragons. Maybe a Steelix Prime or two because it also counters Kyurem. Reshi/MagneBoar is handled by Catcher, and google.dec and Gothitelle doesn't really have an autoloss exept you kill all of there Solosis or hit a well timed Black Belt.
 
My toolbox consists of Crobat prime, donphan prime, zoroark and xatu. It works pretty well surprisingly.

Not true, Gothitelle auto loses to Magnezone and Badboar because of OHKO.

It's impossible to build a deck to counter every deck in the meta, you need to decide what your local areas meta looks like and decide from there.

They aren't all perfect counters, but they all have different styles and each takes 1 energy card to attack so you can set it up pretty easily and be somewhat versatile in how you play each game. Also you can swarm pretty well once you build a decent list.

Crobat: Gothitelle (1F1 most likely), Donphan, Beartic, Magnezone (1F1), Tyranitar, Mew
Donphan: Zoroark, Tyranitar, Magnezone, Zekrom, normal donphan uses
Zoroark: Reshiram, Zekrom, Beartic, Tyranitar, Blastoise (1F1)
Xatu: Gothitelle, Mew

It seems like a fun idea. It's kinda like stage one's but with a stage two for a tech. I like it
