I've been really reading all these cards closely.
There is soooo much strategy to come to this current format upon the release of this coming set.
So many different and abstract powers will be welcomed for the first time to the format and returning to the format.

For instance;
Crustle – Fighting – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Dwebble
Ability: Sturdy
If this Pokemon has no damage counters and were to be knocked out by an attack, this Pokemon’s remaining HP is 10 instead.
**Could be used with damage swapping reunculis or something. so you can't ever get ohko'd.

Dusknoir – Psychic – HP130
Stage 2 – Evolves from Dusclops
Ability: Dark Hand
As often as you like during your turn, you may move 1 damage counter on 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon to another one of his or her Pokemon.
** Registeel Ex would work so well with this card by using his triple laser or any other damage distribution card for that matter. an interested ability in my opinion.

Vileplume – Grass – HP140
Stage 2 – Evolves from Gloom
Ability: Allergy Panic
As long as this Pokemon is in play, all Weaknesses are x4.
** need I say more? one 30 damage attack that is normally double to 60, is now hitting for 120. ouch.

Virbank City Gym – Trainer
Stadium
If a Pokemon is Poisoned, place two more damage counters on it between turns.
**poison is so annoying.

Celebi-EX – Grass – HP110
Basic Pokemon
Ability: Time Recall
All of your Pokemon can use attacks from their previous evolutions. (You still need to required Energy to use the attack.)
**that is just dope, anybody remember Kingdra from the Neo era? yeah..

I'm sure there are more I missed, those are the ones that caught my eyes the most.

:D Crustle/Gold Potion/Maybe Reuniclus.
Vileplume isn't AMAZING in my opinion, but it sure sports cool deck ideas like Six Corners with it....

You forgot Flygon (Not great but its interesting), Keldeo EX, Blastoise, Landorus EX, and Scolipede.
Not saying all of these cards are great, but they are interesting.

yeah, i saw all of those.
the cards i listed are just most intriguing to me.
imagine ether with junk arm? that would have been broken..

Scolipede/celebi/max potion deck will be a very fun deck(too bad celebi has such low health...)

I'm really excited for this set. The pokemon I'm now looking forward to the most is ditto.
I think I figured him out and if I'm correct he's pretty amazing in my eyes. Looking forward to stage threes making a comeback in this set.

Dusknoir would be best paired with darkrai. Dusknoir is really an interseting card. It just sucks how it has one of the worst weakness possilbe.

dusknoir with electrivire is one of my many ideas.
plant dusk on the bench. then attack with electrivire's top attack (30 to all opponents bench pokemon) then spread the damage for ko's. 150 damage to move anywhere. that is potent.

or landorus/groudon + dusknoir. for same reason.

your better of using kyurem than a stage 2 poke.

If you were to use Kyurem, you'd have to plant {W}{W}{C} energies onto Kyurem, and then you'd have to attack, an extra 30 damage across the opponents field. With Dusknoir, however, you can immediately manipulate all the damage on the field, and stack it onto low-HP benchsitters for KO's! Electivire also has the slight perk of setting up a turn earlier, since his spread attack costs {L}{C}{C}.With Dusknoir, you can net KO's with his Ability, AND you're free to attack for even more damage and pressure on your opponent!
