"A collision!" exclaimed Eevee. "How exciting and how convenient! About time I whipped out the big guns... or cannons, in this case."
Eevee whipped off the sheet from a massive cannon, and with a heave and a shove, and a few more heaves and shoves, Eevee managed to position it towards Row 11. He grabbed out his nifty controller, pressed the big red button and KABOOM - twenty one cannonballs left the barrel and soared towards line 11. thegrovylekid and and TheFlyingPidove could only watch as cannonball after cannonball rained down upon them, decimating their ships and bring them down into the deep, dark ocean depths.

Someone purchased a Smoke Ball, and then someone used a Smoke Ball, which began to bellow out much smoke.

Hydreigon and Pancham each fired at various coordinates, but the only noises heard was the splashes of the cannonballs hitting water.

You guys know that you can check past updates for whether ships have been sunk at those coordinates, right? x.x'

Hydreigon, after hastily firing his first two shots, decided to test is luck with a third. It arced towards P17, but only hit the waters with a plop.

You may:
- Post in this thread during this Night Phase.
- Trade any Items or gold with other players but only in this thread.
- Only PM me with commands for Abilities or Items if said Ability or Item specifies to do this.
- PM me to purchase Items and Abilities (list of available Items and Abilities are below)
- Communicate with your team in your team quicktopic.
- Purchase more than one of the same Item or Ability - eg. You cannot buy 2 Midas' Cannonball.

You may not:
- Use a shooting command during the Night phase.
- Move your ship unless you have an Ability or Item that lets you do so.

Items and Abilities are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis - I will post a log of purchases and actions at the end of the phase that will look something like this:

Purchasable Items:
- Sounding Scope - 1 - Using this apparatus, one can send waves of sound across rows or columns, to detect whether a ship (if any) lies on a coordinate of that line. - 2500
- Echo Cannonball - 4 - It's just like a normal cannonball, except that it can detect whether there is a ship in the shot vicinity if it would miss. - 2500
- Fragmentation Cannonball - 2 - On impact, this cannonball will explode into fragments of glass and wood-cutting metal, damaging the shot coordinate and those around it! - 5500
- Homing Cannonball - 3 - This cannonball is embedded with a complex tracking system, so your the shot is guaranteed to hit whoever you choose! The shot will be invisible on the grid-map, however. - 4500
- Private Bubbler - 1 - It doesn’t protect against the shots of high velocity, but it does somehow ward against damaging Abilities! - 3500
- Portable Furnace - 2 - The bellowing heat emitted by this gadget will bring a Heatwave upon even the coolest day. - 5500
- Midas' Cannonball - 5 - It works just like a regular cannonball, except that the ship shot will also gain buckets of gold! - 1500

Purchasable Abilities:
- Black Market II - 2 - With just the right connections, you can obtain two random free items or a random quantity of gold, during the Night Phase! - 6000
- Strong Shot - 1 - Charge the power of your cannonballs so that all your shots have an area-of-effect, hitting not only the shot coordinate, but also those around it! This Ability would mean you can only shoot once every other day, however. - 13000
- Phantom Veil - 2 1 - Combine the skills of man and the powers of the spirits to render your ship invincible to pratically anything but traditional cannonballs! - 7000
- Spectre Cannon - 3 - This eerie cannon can be used to steal items for ships, even you manage to damage them. - 8000
- Fleet Scout II - 2 - Using the intelligence of your fleet, a captain can determine the approximate location of the shooter of an allied ship - including your own - if any are shot. - 9000
- War Outfit - 1 - Add an extra cannon to your ship with this Ability, so you can shoot twice during the Day Phase! - 16000

Flavour does not provide instructions on how to use Abilities/Items - you will receive those instructions after making your purchase.


Event - Spend and Get a Cannonball Free!
The vendor has a special offer for captains during this Night Phase! If you would purchase any combination of Items and spend a combined total over 6000 gold, you will receive a free Fragmentation Cannonball.

Also, if you purchase any Ability during this Night Phase, you will receive a free Homing Cannonball.

AMMENDMENT: You can only claim a single Fragmentation Cannonball and a single Homing Cannonball during the Night.

There is still a whirlpool on the field! You've already seen the devastating wrath of nature, so captains should be increasingly wary.

A mysterious man has appeared! He warns that captains may regret using any investigative Items during this Night Phase. Rather, they should use them during the following Day. Then, the mysterious man melted into the darkness.
