Discussion Focus Sash in Groudon?

Someone help me understand this. Almost all lists from Worlds ran 1 Focus Sash even in Groudon decks with no other fighting pokemon. Now as far as I see it, Hard Charm is better for everything that does 0-250 damage, 250+ is when Focus Sash becomes useful.

But nothing in the format does 250+ to Groudon. The only things that come to mind are Keldeo with all energies (so unlikely its not even worth a deck space) or something grass like Genesect hitting for weakness.. but against grass Weakness Policy is strictly better than Focus Sash anyway.

So whats the deal with Focus Sash?

If you run Hard Charm, G Booster Genesect still 1hits you. If you run Weakness Policy, M-Rayquaza-EX 1hits you. If you run Focus Sash, neither can 1-hit you.

So you fetch Weakness Policy against Genesect and Hard Charm against Rayquaza? No deck plays both Genesect and Rayquaza at the same time.

Its not a question of either or, you keep your 2 Hard Charms but instead of Focus Sash you play Weakness Policy.

It's a matter of space. You assume that Groudon will be 2HKO'd no matter what. Why play two cards when one card does the same thing?

Think of it this way, running one Focus Sash means that you now an extra slot to add another VS Seeker, Supporter, Stadium, or anything you want. You're also ensuring that Groudon can possibly get off one extra attack incase it's about to be knocked out from any Pokémon. True Groudon's main threats are Genesect and Rayquaza, but adding all of that in when one focus sash covers both is much easier to manage.

People's lists might change but Focus Sash is better then Weakness for Groudon since there are other threats besides Grass that can OHKO it so right now, Weakness isn't needed and preventing OHKOs on Groudon is more important.
