Flashfire Prerelease Decks

So I was just curious what kind of cool things people made out of their 6 packs at the prereleases, so first of all, here was mine (didn't get the best pulls, battle-wise)

This isn't really suited for Deck Garage, I'm afraid. It is for that reason that I decided to go ahead and took the liberty to move this thread to General Discussion. Thanks! ~Kecleon

I went 4-1 at the event. From what I can recall it consisted of the following:

-Bergmite (Just to pay tribute to Durant and mill cards)
-Qwilfish (Awesome ability AND attack, fits in any deck!)
-Flabebe
-Floette (spread damage)
-Furfrou (Para hax!)
-Ponyta (Agility!)
-Rapidash (Agility!)
-Druddigon (Revenge ftw!)

Don't remember my trainer line but it was solid. My only loss was to a Pyroar. Gah. Sad thing was, I had Bergmite milling card for three turns before he drew his Pyroar to evolve. I guess I walked into that one. That dude eventually went 5-0.

But yeah there were a lot of Charizard decks out there. Even a Snorlax one went 4-1!
What I sorta wanted to try was Durant and 39 energys. That way I could mulligan for ages and then when I go second, I can make my opponent discard a bunch of cards! Pretty sure I'd go 0-5 though since I'd need a lot of luck to have that happen hah.

I went 3-0 with this IIRC. Had a lot of good search cards like Seedot and Ultra Ball (although I don't think I used a single Ball...) but Charizard was obviously the highlight of the deck that can decimate most other things. I decided to go with some Water things anticipating other Fire/Charizard stuff too. But yeah, fairly standard stuff.

Durant is definitely the troll of this set. (Next to Walrein, because of how redundant he is.) He's near useless and takes up a spot on the Rare section. Disappointing to see that so many pre-release attendees ended up with this card.

I was lucky enough to pull a full art Magnezone EX, so it went into my deck and ended up carrying it-- which is a shame, because I was excited about the rest of my setup!

2-2-1 Flabebe-Floette-Florges

I had barely any usable trainers, but if I recall correctly I ended up with:
1 Magnetic Storm
1 Lysandre
1 Trick Shovel
1 Pal Pad

Energy were about equally divided between Lightning, Fairy, and Water. I went 2-1 with Magnezone EX generating some quick wins against a Toxicroak EX deck (the Toxicroak never got out) and Pyroar. Lost the third round to a Furfrou with only Bergmite out!
