However, Ryan, talented trainer, lost his best friend, Manaphy, 5 years ago, and it's the only one in existance. He thinks Cipher still exists. He thought that ever since he was 5 years old. Everyone didn't belive him. Ryan was in a deep depression when he spotted something in the sky: a Cipher helicopter. He leaped from his bed and cling on the helicopter and got zoomed away to the Cipher base.
At the base, Ryan saw some experiments: some have gone horribly wrong. Some have transformed into Pokemon i. (go ahead and ask Crazy Weavile: he let me use them) Most of these pokemon are failures. Big failures, but among them are shadow pokemon.
Ryan saw that Cipher was creating the ultimate shadow pokemon, one that can never be purified even with the strongest technology. This evil is known as Shadow Manaphy: XD002.
Did you see EX Cipher's Revenge? Well, this is almost the same thing, but revamped! I will try to make images of the cards. Remember how broken eevee was? Or how powerful manaphy was? Well, now you can enjoy revamped cards! (with pokemon i and permission from Crazy Weavile to use them!)
There is 1 new special condition. Let me show you.
Freeze: The pokemon that is frozen can't retreat or attack until the end of the player who played the pokemon's end of thier turn. However, a fire pokemon can attack, which disables the effect. Also, a fire pokemon cannot be frozen.
Just to let you know, there is a new type. Shadow! (represented by the letter "S") A pokemon with "Shadow" in its name will always be pure shadow: pokemon with Cipher in thier names are part-shadow or not even shadow.
