  • Galarian Darumaka/Darmanitan - why are you bland? Okay. 130 for W is nice to hear but c'mon, the dmg range KOs common single-prize basics, but far from KOin Vs. NAH. 3
  • Cryogonal - 90 hp, and an attack that accels 2 energy minimum? Nope. 3

Cryogonal could be a decent early game accelerator for water decks, especially ones that like to pile up energy like Lapras VMax. Plus, it's level ball searchable like Frosmoth, so it'll slot nicely into said decks.

But out of 6 cards, you'll expect to hit like 2 energy. Still the same as some attacks that accelerate energy to itself whatever

Wow! That Cryogonal is an amazing card for cubes! I might consider putting that in my mid-power cube!

When you're already playing frosmoth that accelerates a ton of energy, you aren't going to be using cryognal much, even in the early game

Daruma Head is a funny name, but it's a dumb gimmick that we've already seen on Boltund BST. 130 damage just doesn't mean much anymore.

Pumpkaboo looks like a decent replacement for Marshadow in Shadow Rider decks.
Gourgeist's Monster Parade looks interesting. The modifier is high enough to test it.
Swap Cups is Oranguru reloaded as an item card.

All three at least seem interesting to me.

  • Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist - I actually like Pumpkaboo on Pokemon V decks since it's a basic, so searchable with Quick Ball or Level Ball. It gets rid of Stadium which Pokemon V loved it, especially those with reliable abilities since Path turns off abilities. On Gourgeist, its just your ordinary 1-prized Pokemon. Nothing's special. You'll expect to hit like 3 P Pokemon and KO Crobat, yay! 5/3-4
  • Swap Cups - they made this card because Oranguru hates Empoleon V for turning off its ability. 3

Pumpkaboo is eh. One thing that helped make Marshadow viable was Prism Star stadiums and Chaotic Swell being both a thing while it was legal, on top of freeing its bench space for more useful cards later on. If you want to stadium bump post-rotation, well, just run a stadium yourself. There's gotta be one that helps your deck. Bench space is THAT important. At least it's searchable.

Gourgeist is Sandaconda but worse. You specifically need Twin Energy, Triple Acceleration Energy rotates, and you could even end up unlucky and hit an energy on those discards. Maybe if they reprint TAE it could be a fun meme deck, but otherwise it fails from inception.

Swap Cup is OK, but until Oranguru rotates it won't warrant use. Yes, Oranguru uses a bench space and is prime Boss bait, but it's reusable and searchable by Quick Ball.

Oh if only Gourgeist has 1P instead of 2C requirement on the attack. Or at least a Rapid Strike pokemon so it could use the energy.
