DP 99: Elite Four Aaron! Forest of Separate Encounters!
During their journey, Ash and his friends stop by a town where they see a large crowd. They hear that Aaron from the Elite Four is having a public practice session. The group, which decides to watch the practice, is unexpectedly invited to Aaron's training center where various Bug Pokémon live comfortably. In the center, Dawn finds a picture of a young Aaron together with a Wurmple. Aaron tells the group that the Wurmple was his first capture and his best friend. )...but the group finds out that there is no Wurmple in the training center. When Ash asks about the Pokémon's whereabouts, Aaron falters. It turns out that Aaron has a past he doesn't want to talk about to anyone...
DP100: Turtwig, Grotle...And Torterra
While taking a break in a Pokémon Center, Ash and his friends see Paul again. Ash and Paul start an argument about Chimchar which results in a battle. Ash uses Turtwig against Paul's Honchkrow, but the opponent's powerful attacks drive Ash into a corner. Just then, Turtwig evolves into Grotle! Ash tries to take advantage of the situation... However it seems like Ash has trouble handling Grotle since it now lacks the sharp movements it had as a Turtwig. "Paul's Torterra watches the match silently."
