Ruling Ditto VS Devoluter

If I used Devoluter on my opponent's Ditto, would Ditto go back to their hand or not?

The only Ditto in the format remains basic at all times, Devoluter targets an evolved Pokémon.

If you're referring to the base set Ditto, I honestly have no idea.

Ditto only mimics the Pokemon, but it does not change it's Basic status. Snowpoint works on Ditto because it is a basic. TSTM2 will not work on Ditto.

You can't target Ditto with Devoluter, anyway. It says so on the card. "Choose one of your opponent's Evolved Pokemon"
