Ruling ditto question

My daughter had a question

She used a Ditto one game and she basically copied the opposing person's active Pokemon in play. She ending up getting 70 damage on her Pokemon . The other person ended up retreating their Charizard G back and brought up a Sableye, does she then automatically have the Max hp of the Sableye and would she be automatically knocked out since Sableye has 60 hp because her damage exceeds this?

Yes, Her Ditto would be knocked out, because Dittos Poke-body copies the Hp of your opponents Active Pokemon.

This also works the same way when Ditto is sent to the bench with 60 or more damage on it, Ditto would revert to its original form and HP score. But whenever your opponent swaps Pokemon, then Ditto INSTANTLY swaps too.
