Demons of Creation
An Ubers RMT by Chaos Jackal

Out of the silent planet
Dreams of desolation
Out of the silent planet
Come the demons of Creation

Since I have more than a year on PB, I’m a mod here and I’m ready to make my 1000th post, I decided I’d make it something special. This RMT is a thank you to all members of PB for the good time they’ve given me, and a hope that things will continue to go smoothly. To all of you, something from my best tier. This team got me as high as No.12 in the Smogon Ubers ladder, by far the best position I've ever (and probably will ever) reach.
The team is dedicated to the three people who, one way or another, got me into competitive and shaped the way I play.
DNA, for his advice on VGC, the first tier I tried.
King Arceus, for teaching me Ubers.
Uralya, for inspiring me with his ideas and teams and helping me form my view of OU.

The clash of land and sea, sun and rain, that’s been ravaging Ubers since Generation III has reached a relative calm. No longer will Ubers teams depend entirely on weather. No longer weather wars will be as important. This gives more room for someone to utilize the other primary characteristic of Ubers: power.
The greatest of OU teams and Pokemon are only decent when compared to the beasts that reside on the harshest tier of competitive battling. Not wielding the tremendous force in waiting is an insult to the titans that shaped the Pokemon world. The team is a crossbreed between Hyper and Bulky Offense, leaning more towards the latter. Presenting to you the Demons of Creation.

Dialga w/Pressure @Leftovers
Careful Nature-252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 SpD
Iron Head
Roar
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Yeah, I know. This doesn’t look offensive in the bit. But I don’t think I ever mentioned that offense doesn’t need support. Dialga is the special wall of the team, as well as its hazard setter. It’s here to stack entry damage and paralysis to opposing teams to allow for the rest of the team to easily setup and sweep. Iron Head uses the final trait of Dialga, its Steel typing, as a cure to Fairies who otherwise defeat the purpose of the set. Xerneas in particular can't OHKO at +2, and T-Wave followed by an Iron Head cripple it for the rest of the match.

Giratina w/Pressure @Leftovers
Impish Nature-252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Def
Dragon Tail
Rest
Sleep Talk
Will-o’-Wisp
Wall No.2, Physical. That’s’s Giratina’s job, and it does it quite well. Will-o'-Wisp is the bane of all physical attackers, while Dragon Tail prevents them from setting up and stacks entry damage thanks to SR. Ho-Oh, Blaziken and Extreme Killer Arceus are all walled by this behemoth. RestTalk puts an end to funny ideas stating that Giratina can fall to Toxic or WoW.

Kyogre w/Drizzle @Leftovers
Modest Nature-252 HP, 252 SpA, 4 Spe
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunder
Calm Mind
Meet the first offensive Pokemon of the team. Arguably the king of the tier in Gen V, Kyogre might have lost its perma-weather and with it part of the great synergy it had with Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Palkia, but it’s still able to function well on its own. With maximum HP investment and an amazing 140 Special Defense stat, Kyogre is actually capable of tanking Xerneas’ Geomancy at +2. This makes it an easy feat for it to setup on a Special attacker and proceed to sweep the opposing team. While its Speed isn’t ideal, Kyogre makes up for it with its amazing bulk and great power coming off 150 base Special Attack. Anyone who disregards Kyogre as slow soon finds out what the Leviathan is really capable of.

Rayquaza w/Air Lock @Life Orb
Adamant Nature-252 HP, 4 SpA, 252 Spe
Dragon Claw
Extreme Speed
V-Create
Dragon Dance
Rayquaza is among the most powerful Pokemon available. With 150 in both attacking stats, there’s no thing called a wall for the green serpent. Dragon Dance allows it to bypass its mediocre Speed while at the same time turning its rather low-power Dragon Claw into a killing move (Outrage is not an option, thanks to Xerneas). Rayquaza can also act as a revenge killer or laugh at revenge killers itself, since it also has access to the best priority move of the game, Extreme Speed, to beat any weakened sweepers or, at +1, to outspeed potential targets like Extreme Killer Arceus or Mega Kangaskhan. Unfortunately, DD Rayquaza is highly hindered by Xerneas. For that reason, V-Create, normally a move that didn't work for the DD set, finds a place. Apart from defeating the likes of Genesect, Ferrothorn, Scizor and Skarmory, V-Create also OHKOes most Xerneas variants at +1, providing Rayquaza with a safer sweep afterwards and also taking out one of the most dangerous Pokemon in the meta.

Mewtwo w/Pressure @Mewtwonite Y
Timid Nature-4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe
Psystrike
Aura Sphere
Ice Beam
Calm Mind
Boasting the highest Special Attack stat in the game, an insane 194-14 more than that of Deoxys-A-and 140 Speed, Mega Mewtwo Y is a killing machine. With its Speed being among the highest of the tier, only losing to Deoxys, Mewtwo doesn’t need Speed boosts. Just one Calm Mind is enough for it to wreak havoc at everything in its path. Psystrike fits perfectly, attacking the foe’s Defense and giving Mewtwo wallbreaking potential, allowing it to destroy the likes of Chansey, Blissey and Kyogre. While prone to revenge killing due to lacking priority, Mega Mewtwo has respectable Special bulk, which, in combination with Calm Mind, ensures that not too much damage will stack when Mewtwo attempts to setup.

Arceus w/Multitype @Lum Berry
Adamant Nature-252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Spe
Extreme Speed
Earthquake
Shadow Claw
Swords Dance
Extreme Killer Arceus might face competition as the strongest sweeper in existence in the face of Geomancy Xerneas and Mega Mewtwo Y, but this doesn’t affect it in the least. While lacking the sheer power of the other two, Arceus has a few tricks up its sleeve. First, its 120/120/120 defenses allow it to setup on many different targets, provided it won’t be burned, paralyzed or phazed. Second, it has access to Lum Berry, allowing it to avoid things like Sash Darkrai's Dark Void or Giratina's Will-o'-Wisp. And of course, STAB Extreme Speed. After a Swords Dance, with Adamant Nature, Arceus is virtually unstoppable. The only Pokemon that can reliably face it are defensive Giratina, defensive Groudon, Lugia and defensive Dialga, and all of them will take a good deal of damage in the meantime. The one exception is defensive Yveltal, which can survive two hits and KO with Foul Play, while healing off damage with Roost. Also, if the aforementioned try cripple Arceus with status rather than phaze it out, they're in for a nasty surprise in Lum Berry, and their defeat, as they can't survive more than two attacks. The combination of Earthquake and Shadow Claw allows Arceus to have perfect coverage, as not even the rare gimmick Bronzong can now wall it thanks to Steel’s nerf. Arceus is the perfect finisher in a team made to sweep.

Problems: No team is flawless, of course. Depending on whether Giratina or Dialga are down, Physical or Special sweepers can cause major trouble for the team. Hazards are something the team has no defense for, as it lacks both a Spinner and a Defogger. Luckily, the team’s playstyle doesn’t involve much switching, but still, a bulky phazer like Lugia can cause a lot of problems before it is removed. Finally, there’s Xerneas. Apart from having the ridiculous Geomancy, Xerneas gets a special place by being the worst thing to ever join the Ubers meta. A Fairy in a Dragon environment is like a crazy killer in a school. Luckily, the team has defense against it and other sweepers in the form of two Extreme Speed users, although it may often come down to sacrificing one of them. Same goes for ScarfOgre, the most terrifying thing to ever be made by the Pokemon Company. It, too, can be faced in the form of Extreme Speed to wear down its Water Spout. Both of the aforementioned can also be crippled or phazed by Dialga, although Dialga can't counter them, but only check them.

Thank you for your attention. I hope you liked the team, so that my 1000th post isn’t wasted. I salute all of you, PB members, and I hope we’ll stay together for much longer.
