Strategy:

The strategy for this deck is fairly straight forward..get Delphox Break out and power up itself and Flareon Ex to do massive amounts of damage in a small amount of turns. I added a 1-1 Octillary line to try and help with draw consistency as in some matches I notice myself getting stuck without the right hand texture. Things like holding just a delphox in hand with two in play and top decking a fire energy while my opponent controls the stadium. Is this just a natural thing I can't avoid or is there something I am missing? I have thought about adding Shaymens but cannot afford to purchase the card so would like to avoid that route if possible.

my sugestions are:
-1 wally- 2 is unnecessary with vs seeker

-1 teammate- not that good with skyla, which lets you grab the cards teammates gets you but always

-2 evosoda- useless in everything

-2 braxien- unnecessary with rare candy

+3 rare candy- helps delphox get in play quickly

-2 dce- only helps delphox, and he hits for ohkos usually anyways

+1 remoraid and octillery- in case its prized, and multiple in play help and helps get it out faster

+1 flareon- its your main attacker, so its good to have multiple

-2 fire energy- you never need 14 basic energy.

+1 N- increases chance of getting it when needed

+1 lysandre- increases chances of getting it

+1 sycamore- helps increase chance of getting one

+3 level ball- searches almost everything but delphoxes and flareon

-1 hex- no abilities in the game that hurt you, and shuts off your essential abilities

-1 delphox- if its not your main attacker, you dont need 4

+1 ultra ball- increases consistency

-1 energy recycler- you dont need 2, ever

I believe the biggest problem you'll have with your deck as it currently stands is getting enough energy on the field quickly to start attacking. Until you get your Delphox BREAKs in play, you're limited on attaching energy.

Suggestions:

+4 Max Elixir - if you get them first turn, you can use them on a Fennekin to set up Delphox's Psystorm, otherwise use on Flareon EX

+2 Rare Candy

+1 Lysandre - In case one is prized, you'll need one if Garbador comes out

+1 Remoraid / +1 Octillery, in case one is prized

+1 N

+1 Flareon EX

+3 Fighting Fury Belt - for Flareons

+2 Float Stone - helps if you have to start with Fennekin or Remoraid in your active

- 1 Fennekin

-3 Braixen - use rare candy instead

-1 Delphox - If you're using Delphox mainly for Flare Witch on the BREAK, no need for an extra Delphox that can't BREAK evolve

-1 Wally

-1 Teammates

-2 Fire energy - 12 is enough to hit 3 out of four Max Elixir reliably

-2 Double Colorless Energy - they don't help Flareon EX

-2 Evosoda

-1 Hex Maniac - Shouldn't be necessary, and prevents your Flare Witch / Flash Fire

-1 Energy Recycler - Shouldn't need to pull more than 5 energy from discard

Alternatively, consider switching the focus of the deck away from Flareon EX and toward Delphox as your main attacker, with either Flareon EX or Lugia EX as your backup attacker. Since Psystorm does damage based on all energy attached to all Pokemon, once you have the required three energy on Delphox you can start attaching to Lugia or Flareon to bulk them up if you need them and still be able to harness the energy on Lugia or Flareon for Delphox's attack. Ideally, you would drop 2 Flareon EX (or 3 if you opt for Lugia EX) so you have one Flareon EX or Lugia EX and add a pair of regular Volcanion to use as your starting Pokemon and utilize Volcanion's attack to attack two energy from discard to help ramp up energy right away. Also, in this scenario, drop the 3 Fighting Fury Belt and replace them with an additional Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox.
