Ruling Current Rules 'Handbook'

Since there's a lot of time I stopped playing TCG (around 2002), and a lot of rules and details have changed, I wanted to know where to find the following:

1. A complete list of rules. This would include basics like "You can have 6 pokémon in play, 4 on your Bench, 2 as Active..." or "You can only do one attack per turn" or "You can use THIS number or trainer cards per turn..." or "Your deck must have exactly THIS number of cards".

2. A complete list of cards errata and cards that have their effects replaced.

3. A complete list of the currently accepted expansions and cards that have been re-edited and even though they're old, they're still part of the game.

I'm asking this because I see a lot of links to compendiums which doesn't help much considering they don't include the basic rules (and a lot of basic stuff have changed). Hope it's a valid thread; if so, I'd suggest you made it a 'pinned' thread, since you could avoid a lot of simple questions having this clearly linked.

Thanks in advance!

1. You can find a complete list of rules on www.pokemon.com. Go to the How to play section to find it. Iirc I put a link to the rulebook in the sticky thread.
2. Vist The Compendium for errata. It lists all errata and is the official source for rulings.
3. The current format is Diamond/Pearl and newer. A list of reprints can be found as a sticky in General Discussion.~Mark

I'd like to add to the current tourney legal sets and say that promos DP01 and up are also legal, as well as POP sets 6 through 9. Additionally, a total of 6 foreign cards can be used in a deck, provided translations are also provided.

Come Worlds 2010 however (mid-late August), the format will be Majestic Dawn and up, the legal promos will be DP22 and up, plus the HGSS promos, the POP packs will be gone, and foreign cards will no longer be allowed in tournaments at all (even with translations provided).
