i did some thinking about crobat. would a deck with
1. crobat prime

2. kindra prime

ever work. poison with crobat, punish retreaters with metagross. put damage on with kindra and move aound needed energy with mismag.(i could then use max potion)
 
In theory, it'd be pretty cool, but the thing holding it down is the fact that you need to use 3 Stage 2's. Metagross is just too slow and has a less than desirable damage output, even for a snipe and spread deck (Even that one Chandelure does better). Though I DO like your thoughts, it simply won't work too well, unfortunately...with what you're suggesting, I'd just go for straight Crobat, in my honest opinion.
 
I think that Crobat is his best when used with Mew. One it is faster. Two, all of your ideas except Mismaguis is a Stage 2. So...It would be faster to use Mew.

Yeah, putting Mew in a deck that uses 1 energy attacks anyway is like telling your opponent to draw a prize.

That's the whole point of mewbox. Low energy attacks. That way when one of your mews dies, it's not a big deal. Mew would be the best way to run crobat, but if you don't like it, I don't know what to run it with. It's not really the best card, but I'm sure it's possible to make a pretty good deck around it.
 
But he wants a deck focused around Crobat, not Mew. Crobat can survive longer than Mew could ever dream of.

I know that, I'm just saying that low energy attacks are what mew loves.
 
Either run straight crobat, some sort of lock (vileplume+[1 of these]slowking/hypno/etc), mew or yanmega. All 4 have very different playstyles, so it's all about what you want to play it as.

CROBAT FTW!!!!! i think crobat is a awesome card. My friend made a crobat and muk deck and it works pretty good. I think you could also add jirachi and it would be pretty cool
 
How about Crobat with Donphan to cover Weakness? Two fairly low-energy attackers; Crobat could Poison, then retreat into Donphan to finish the Pokemon off. Or you could just use whichever one is more viable at the time.

If you used them together you would just have a Donphan stuck in the active position unless you run a consistent switch count, which is redundant with your main attacker having free retreat. Donphan is used more effectively as just a tech to cover the ZPS/Megazone matchup rather than a paired attacker.
