Strategy:
The main objective of this deck is use Emboar's Inferno Fandango Ability to attach large amounts of Energy to Armarouge ex to power up its Blaze Bazooka attack, allowing it to swing for very high damage. Armarouge ex's Crimson Armor Ability should theoretically allow it a great amount of survivability, allowing it to possibly take two big KOs consecutively. Reshiram ex acts as a late-game cleaner, being able to more easily KO high HP Pokemon with its cheaper Blaze Burst attack that Armarouge ex might no longer have the resources to hit for at this point in the game.

Unreleased Cards:
Tepig - Fire - HP70

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4

Reshiram ex - Fire - HP230
Basic Pokemon
[C][C] Slash: 50 damage.
[R][R][C] Blaze Burst: 130+ damage. This attack does 50 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. Discard an Energy from this Pokémon.
Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Notes:
I think that the return of Inferno Fandango could let Armarouge ex really pop off. It has a good Ability and its attack has lots of potential, but the requirements for it are very hard to work with. But Emboar solves that issue rather well. Now, that aside, I don't think I have it fully figured out yet, so if you do have any suggestions on what could make the deck theoretically run better, I would be more than happy to hear your suggestions.

My only concern with Armarouge ex is that there are a lot of Pokemon out there that do dink damage: Dragapult ex and Munkidori come to mind. These break the otherwise very cool Crimson Armor Ability and I don't think you'll get as much mileage out of it. Now if you can AVOID these Pokemon, then you're cookin - having no damage cap is pretty sick and being able to OHKO things like Gardevoir ex is very good. I'd thicken the Tepig line and bump that up to three while cutting a Charcadet for consistency. Another way to counter Gardevoir would be to do spread damage and I think something like N's Darmanitan could be fun. Just spitballing here.

Good luck on the deck!

I like the idea of adding in N's Darmanitan. That would be a really good counter for Dragapult and Gardevoir decks with how it can snipe the bench, possibly. What do you think I should cut to add that in?

Im not really a professional…but should you put in one of the SV armarouge? The one with fire off? Would help to keep your energy mostly in play.. but looking at your list again it kind of can recycle the discarded energy… just a suggestion here!

The SVI Armarouge is honestly entirely unnecessary in this. Emboar’s Inferno Fandango lets you attach as many Basic Fire Energy to your Pokemon as you want during your turn. It’s basically Fire-type Baxcalibur.

Hm…sounds nice! Sorry because I’m not really into doing professional TCG but I do understand where you’re coming from

One of this deck's weaknesses is a similar weakness to Frigbax/Baxcalibur's: Hawlucha for 1 ping, and then target the pre-evo basic with Boss w/ its weakness in active and/or use a Dragapult in active for 6 added counters (no need to boss if Dragapult does it), and shaymin DRI won't matter. I suggest doing a 1-1 line of rabsca TEF(the only bench protector that does so on both bench damage and bench effects from attacks), in place of a situational Regigigas PRE that only works well if the Active is a dying breed of Tera, as well as one of your 4 jet energy, to ensure your bench is protected from the Pult way of tepig targeting... If you don't think Rabsca TEF is acceptable, add 2 rare candies to your deck instead with same cuts as a lifeline out to Emboar, and by lifeline, I mean a backup to prizing your Evolution TMs and/or your 1 Pignite so that failing to go first for purposes of beating Drakloak to the stage 2 will not cost you the game...

That's a good point. I had completely forgotten that they nerfed Tepig down to 70 HP. I thought it had 80 like the one in Battle Styles.

If that's the case, maybe I could also add in some Buddy-Buddy Poffin to fill up the Bench quicker?

Also, I absolutely despise Dragapult and anyone who plays it. It is the most miserable deck I've ever played against and I want to toaster bath myself everytime I realize I'm playing against it.
