The LA Cradily has Drain down, which can switch the opposing pokemon with a benched, and do 30 damage. If it KOs the opponent, all the damage is healed.

Does the healing work only when I switch pokemon (and get the KO) or even if I don't switch opponents (and still get the KO of course) will it still heal me.
 
The switch is not a requirement. As long as you KO whatever Pokemon ends up in the Active position, you get the full heal.
