Counters to Speedrill?

. ^Actually Luxape works better because they don't need to do a mere 70 damage in order to KO you. And with SPs it gets hard to keep recycling LV.X's.
Wager can actually be a pretty good counter because they tend to save PlusPowers and Maintenances in their hand.
Using Spiritomb and a powerful switch card (like Shuppet) also works very well if you can afford to lose 1-2 Spiritombs and still be able to retreat free.
Flygon deckout works well against it too.
Gengar can be an okay counter but it's not anywhere near as good as the others given that you take prizes at a pretty fast rate and so do they.
Gardevoir may be able to be a good counter with DCE because they can't Flutter Wings or Cosmic anymore. However, in the past Beedrill had this matchup because Gardevoir lacked speed.
Gyarados works pretty well against the Speedrills that don't pack many/any PlusPowers or Crobats.
Mr. Mime can stall them a bit but it doesn't do anything back. However, killing a Beedrill with 3 energy when they usually run 5 is great.
All of the other counters mentioned work as well, Dusknoir and Palkia being the primary ones.

you could try magmortar SW and the X and warpoint or cyclone energy. heres what you do.
if RR beedrill is active: you could use torrid wave so now he can't flutter wings and fireball bazooka could knock it out with the burn or use plus powers, expert belts aswell (heatran X garuntees burns) with 20 to 2 benchers.

Deafen Lock = easy to beat for Bees. As seen by mine, Martin Schmidt, and Steven Silvestro's Top Cut performances at Nats. All three of us paired against Dialga G's. I lasted through a 22 Turn Deafen Lock to win. A smart Bees player can live without rare candy and BTS.
Best SP Vs Speedrill. Dialga G??? ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS? Palkia G LV.X is not auto win, but has a great chance of winning. If you can get a mere Weedle in the Lost Zone their overall damage dramatically lowers. If they play 3 Weedle/Beedrill on the bench with a Uxie/Azelf/Claydol/Luray GL on the bench they're only doing 60 damage. Then snipe one down. And you're good.
If you want a speedrill deck counter, run Dialga/Garchomp. Maybe even with a houndoom g tech. I ran houndoom g in mine, and it not only counters speedrill but also helps in the mirror.
WHY would you use Houndoom G? So you cant use powers for 1 turn...by that time it should be all ready set up and one shot. Dialga G is a problem w/ Deafen, but not THAT big a problem. Dialga cant deafen FOREVER. Garchomp isn't that big a problem, so it one shots Claydol, Beedrill will OHKO back.
