Hi folks, I just bought a breakpoint booster packs box to my older son.

He wants to complete to whole set.

What do you guys normally do with the holo card versions !?

You put them in the set and you complete the set with both normal and holo cards !?

You try to complet a full set only with holo cards !?

Or you are only keeping the regular cards in the whole set and selling/trading the holos ?

Thanks for your advices !

I've been a set collector from day 1. There are many sets that will feature non-holo and holo and/or regular-art and full-art versions of the same exact Pokémon. As long as the set number is different for each card, I've collected all versions of the same Pokémon in order to complete the set.

Typically a complete set seems to be all regular holos/rare/uncommons/commons/and then the special and secret cards.

If it had all that plus all available reverse holos that would be what I've heard called a master set.

I guess it depends which idea you like more. For a while I tried to do master sets but it's too expensive to keep up on.

Is there a way to know the average value of each of the set and master set, once it's all completed ?!
