Im guessing "Terastal" goes for the exact same type as the Pokemon in the card, then we will get

"Fire Terastal"
"Water ..."
"Leaf ..."

And these Pokemons are the ones that gonna have unnusual types

They could have done so many things to make terrastalize pokemon interesting and they chose the most mechanically boring and insignificant option they could. I'm sure 99% of people would have a better idea for this without even giving it much thought.

It should've been like ancient traits, who cares that it had been done before? If the "new" thing is just stapling a random, generic effect for every card, by all means, do the old thing again!

Misdreavus Line- Draw engine 6
Dedenne ex- Underwhelming 1
Paldean Wooper Line- Could be good 2/3/9
Lesson Studio- Pointless 3

Guess it's confirmed that Terrastilization is the biggest letdown in the history of the card game...

These cards are beautiful but somebody somewhere still needs to be fired.
We are still in the beginning stages of the sets. We didn't know Tag Team was going when we discovered Guardians Rising cards. Let's be a little patient and see what is in the works.

are we just reverting to primary school playground insults? accept that dedenne never terastallized into psychic type and that’s it. if that’s the hill you’re going to die on, by all means, sure. (even though the card’s weakness is metal? psychic was at no point weak to steel, but fairy was and is still weak to steel) (you can also clearly see the hat on dedenne is the fairy terastal hat)

Why did they absolutely waste the potential of Terastallized pokemon? They pick one of their existing types, which kind of destroys the idea of Tera pokemon in general, and all have the same boring ability.

When they introduced Delta Species Pokemon in Gen 3, every single one of them was a dual Metal type at first, and it was repetitive and boring. But after a set or two, Delta Species could be any off-brand type for the Pokemon featured and we got several sets of those. Maybe Teras will evolve in the same way. It's too early to say they've "wasted" the idea.
