Now i have been using this site for a long time now and i have seen alot of people get chewed out for asking about cheats or talking about cheats and i thing that is way wrong!!! I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A FORUM FOR CHEATS!!! i know that some of you are saying that cheats are bad that you shouldent cheat in a game that its not what the creators wanted. well then why are they here? cheats are more like game enhansers to make the game more interesting. and i do see where most of you are coming frome but this is a fan site right so i dont see why we cant descus all the things about pokemon not just some. so please dont be CHEAT RASIST and let us be true and complete pokemon fans.

Hey, don't think everyone dislikes cheats. In fact, I love cheats, especially RBY Glitches and RSE Walk-through-Walls cheat. However, we do not have a large number of members who appreciates glitches and cheats, and if we do create a sub-forum, it would definitely be inactive. I have my doubts on this one.
 
We don't support cheating and hacking. If we don't support it, why would we have a forum dedicated to it? <_<

And you need to fix up your grammar and spelling.
 
Well, I'm not happy that Rom Hacking isn't permitted or even allowed being discussed around here, but, I can't do anything about that. There is alot of stuff common members have no say in around here and can't do anything to change but at a point you get used to it >.<
 
Why dont you support cheating its pary of the gameing experiance thats like saying you dont like war in life so your just going to pretent its not there and shun anyone that tryes to talk about it.!!!

Actually, you could discuss about cheating via GameShark, IIRC. Though ROM threads automatically gets the lock.
 
Even though Roms aren't illegal and the decision to take them away was decided before there were at least a few people who knew enough about Roms to defend them. They're only illegal if you alter them AND THEN right them to the cartridge.
 
no we should be able to have a forum for cheats on a FAN site.!!!! i see where most people are comeing from but if they dont like cheats then dont be on the forum let the ones that want it be on. i just cant see why we cant get one.

Well, whether we do support cheating or not, a forum will be rather useless to discuss "how I cheated". As for "what cheats exist", there's are many other sites already. Moreover, there's not much discussion, except for "thanks for telling us about this".
 
As what Amt said, PB doesn't support hacking and such, get over it. Besides you don't need to cheat to become a good competitive battler. The way you are saying it is if someone made a school "fansite" they would and should talk about cheating in tests? That's the logic you are implying. Besides, hacking can get you banned here.
 
Plus, hacking has a negative effect on people, making them think there's a "cheat code" for a good life, and it also takes all the fun out of a game.
 
IMO this thread should not be about discussing whether cheats should be prohibited from discussion, or its usefulness. It should be discussing about whether a cheat sub-forum would be beneficial/active or not.

IMO, its gonna fail.

the forum will not fail and cheating dose not take the fun out of the game only to much cheating. you could descus many typs of things. take this as an example say your internal clock dies and you could come here and find a cheat code so you could still do timed events. see its not all BAD.!!!!!!
 
Well, Steriods are an enhancer, and make things fun and interesting, yet they are illegal in all sanctioned and official sports.

I'm agreeing that a cheating sub-forum would be inactive and have very little intelligant posts.
 
Nothing good would come from a "Cheaters" forum.

Just think. Everyone can find out the cheats themselves via Action Replay. So what would be the point of said forum?

And if you found a new cheat, it'd mostly made up of posts like this:

"lik dis is colz!"

"Does this really exsist?"

"thanks for tellin us"

"I gonna use dis!!1!"

Yeah, those 4 sentences would be what 95% posts in that forum would look like.

Besides, PokeBeach is mainly against cheating/hacking.

And seriously, I have only seen a few threads in my time here about "Cheats"

Bottom Line: A new sub-forum for cheats would be very inactive and just have unintelligent or spammy posts.
 
The only cheating people use, and are allowed to so asay speak of here is cheats that don't affect gameply, and don't effect pokemon's natures, iv's ev's etc.

Which some of them would be:

-Infinite Rarecandy
-Infinite Masterballs
-And maybe some items you need provided such as life orb, leftovers, etc.

Yes, it would be a nice forum but, nothing good would come out of it, and like sg said, terrible spelling and grammar would come out of it:

Watch if the open a thread up like this they just make a rule no grammer, = temp. ban

And we will have everyone in that forums get banned almost instantly.
 
So you are just to up on your high horse to let something new to have a chance. please all im saying is give it a shot a lot of good can come frome it more then you think
 
Not really.

The only cheats that more than 5% of the community would use would be for RCs, TMs, and Master Balls. That is it. (And even then there's cloning.)

And as I said before, not much discussion will come from it, and it will just be calling for spam. Seriously.

And C88, I typed "liek dis" just to do so. It meant nothing, really.
