bronzong - PokePower Cycler - What happens if I can't find or don't have 2 basic energy cards? Can I still take a card from my hand and put in on top of my deck?

You still have to put a card in your hand on top of your deck if you announce the Power. You can also choose to fail the search even if a correct target exists. If you don't find anything or choose to take anything you still have to shuffle the deck after.~Mark
To use the power, the minimum you are required to do is put 1 card from your hand to the deck. Your deck is not public knowledge; therefore, your opponent does not know whether you have any energy or not. You can choose to grab 0 energy either because you don't have any, or because you don't want to grab them.
