If I have a Bronzong (MD) on bench and they ko my active pokemon and I bring Bronzong to the active spot would it's pokebody activate?

Yes, it does. There was a similar situation with Flygon lvl X, and that pokebody does activate.

If your active Pokemon is knocked out during your turn, it does activate. If your active Pokemon is knocked out between turns, it does not.
